There was apparently a novel released for it in Japan. But i'm not sure what else. If any game was planned then that was obviously put on hold because of P5's ongoing development.
Imagine the P4 gang coming to your city in P5 and investigating the crimes you commit? Than the ultimate climax between P5 Protagonist and Yu.

yeah this is actually really cool
People like them for a number of a different reasons, but the answers you typically see parroted boil down to likeable and relate-able characters, beautiful/catchy soundtracks, stylistic art direction,and an incredible amount of player choice.
I like it for all of the above and as a bastion for traditional, turn based JRPG gameplay.

Resolution and maybe a higher framerate and better textures. They're probably at the point where they just want to get the game out. No one is really going to give them grief for not pushing the PS4.
Doubt it. There's even a 5th character in the trailer that we were just shown, and it seems to have a seven deadly sins theme.

It will probably just be a difference in performance. Whether that amounts to a framerate difference or less jaggies on PS4, who knows.

No way is there only going to be four party members. They'll reveal other characters in future trailers, I'm sure.
Not likely, can't imagine they'd reveal every character planned all at once.
The P4 reveal trailer was also 17 minutes long.
We already see a fifth potential party member in this trailer at 0:40, so it's probably more than 4.

Well it's all speculation at this point but it's not impossible for the game to have more characters.
We've seen another character in the trailer that dons a fox/tanuki mask, so there's a chance of that character.
Atlus marketing is on fire right now with the build up to these trailers and the subsequent reactions. Given how people resonate strongly with the characters in Persona, they can string further reveals in future trailers to keep up buzz.

hey for that matter I'd love for somebody to make some P5 smart phone backgrounds. Looking to replace my Destiny ones.
Probably 720p on PS3, 1080p on PS4. Perhaps better AA, texture quality and 60FPS too.
This is just if they are doing a very simple port of the game and I'm not expecting much more than that really.

Guilty Gear Xrd is multi-platform with PS3 and PS4, with 720p for the former and 1080p for the latter. Both run at 60 FPS.
But if looking for the game this is closest to in its presentation rather than an estimate of port differences, Catherine is the right answer.

P4 had a 17 min reveal trailer I was hoping P5 does something similar ;P

Nah. Maybe that special Blu-ray will be something like that, but P5 is certainly not being marketed like P3 and P4 were.
