Finished Palace 2. 20 hours in now. My gaming in the past few months has been really badly skewed towards longass shit. 140 hours into FFXIV so far. 90+ hours to finish Zelda BotW. Now P5 is going to be another longass thing. Help.

Persona is long because of the stretched story (and useless spams), 80% of my playtime is reading not playing. So if you're a fast reader, you should shrunk it to 75-80 hours.

You go to item screen and use it from there, same way you would use healing items outside combat.

No ambush. Rakshasa next turn. On my first turn I can either Rakuja MC or use my only insta kill Bless on the next Rakshasa. I have no Bless atttacks. Suggestions? This is on hard.

Edit: Oh goddamn so I made the wrong item then

How many turns does it take to escape? Im thinkinf using the bless item, MC guards, someone runs, pray.

They never bothered me much, I can see why they'd grate on other people but it never really was an issue. One thing you can do if you feel you're strong enough is ambush a shadow and immediately run. It takes a perk to do it in 5 but in 4 if you ambush you can run whenever.

It makes exploring a lot faster.

They do get repetitive, yes. They don't particularly change much either - they just have different wallpaper and music each time.

You kind of just... put up with it.

If you really think they'll zap away the fun of the game, I imagine you could probably just turn the difficulty down and that would allow you to run through the dungeons quicker without worrying about being under-levelled.

Did you not have the SP regen accessories?

I had 3 of the level 3 ones and one of the level 2 ones on my party. It meant I could get through the entirety of that dungeon in one run.

One of the main reasons why I like Persona 5 is because the dungeons are great with amazing atmosphere, music and even story bits thrown in here and there.

Considering that if I play P3/P4 I will just have to put up with it and just enjoy the story, social aspect and the combat.

After clearing the fourth palace and nearing 70 hours into the game... I also agree that Yusuke is absolutely the best.

There's quite a few characters I like, but also quite a few that are losing me. Overall I am happy with the cast so far.

What do you mean by persons pendulum?

Anyways the stuff that carries over:
-Skill cards
-Equipments
-Money
-Social Stats
-Play time

But the two most important ones are:

-Special character specific items (you get these at the end of the game from rank 10 confidants which allows you to use their max confidant ability asap)
-Persona Compendium (so as long as you have money you can get any Persona)

Depends if they've learned anything good, otherwise you're just driving up their summoning cost for nothing.
Granted, The summoning costs in this game are extremely generous compared to some other SMT games, so it's not that big of a deal to keep registering them...

Current level doesn't matter when using a Persona as a fusion material. So register it if it learns a skill you think is worth potentially passing on, otherwise it doesn't matter.

Absolutely not. The game has some badly translated lines, but that's more or less bound to happen when you translate a game as long as this one.

Those 2 lines are from a series staple character whose schtick is to say vague lines in a stilted manner. The only localization thing that bothered me was how maybe 2 surnames aren't pronounced correctly, but that's what Atlus Japan wanted.

You'd be crazy to return the game because of localization. It's fantastic aside from the mis steps mentioned.
