Okay, I'll check it out because you recommend it to meYeah. P5X is a gacha game coming to PC and mobile. They've only announced the CN and KR release, but it's expected to come to Global and Japan as well later on.
Yes, it uses the same turn-based combat system as in P5. There are still social links, and like in P5, you can gift character items. You obtain new Personas by pulling for them through the gacha mechanic (the same applies for obtaining new characters/phantom thieves).Do we know anything about the gameplay when compared to P5? Is it a similar game with turned based combat and social stuff where you buy personas with money or have they made something completely different?

There's also gacha for weapons:
There's also a new Velvelt Room waifu, I mean attendant:
They've added new locations to explore:
They've also extended Shinjuku
New Phantoms to recruit (they've put quite a bit of effort into their animations:
Combat Gameplay
There's lots more stuff from the betas so check out Faz YouTube channel, he has a dedicated playlist with tons of P5X stuff.
Heimdall_Xtreme Tagging you here as well as what I shared in this post might interest you.
Yup, they've put a ton of effort into it. That's why I'm excited to give it a shot once it releases in the west even with it being a gacha game.Ok, that looks like a proper persona game which I was not expecting. Now I'm intrigued.

Sad, its by far the worst Persona game.Atlus milking p5 like crazy
It should do pretty good as there's already 10M pre-registrations for the CN version with 2 weeks still to go.The art style of Persona 5 is just too iconic. I wonder what art style Persona 6 will have though. I guess similar but with different colors?
The bigger question if the game will succeed on mobile or not.
New Velvet Room attendant is top tier I will give them that , but ...Feels sort of sad that a mobile spinoff gets better character designs then the mainline 5.
who's working on the soundtrack?
The theme song "Ambitions and Visions" was composed by Atlus' Ryota Kozuka and the rest of the soundtrack was created by the music team of Perfect World game's Black Wings Studio, supervised by Atlus and Sega.
Oh! So that theme was composed by the same composer as SMT IV (best videogame OST ever) and SMT V? Very cool. From the linked article. ^^
I've posted Ambitions and Visions earlier in this thread.
The very same. Although Lyn did the vocals for Ambitions and Visions:Oh! So that theme was composed by the same composer as SMT IV (best videogame OST ever) and SMT V? Very cool.
Never heard of Black Wings Studio but I guess they'll do a nice job.
