Hey, in Atlus I trust.
I guess one thing that is clear in my non-Japanese reading capacity is that the 3DS, Vita, 360 and PS3 are mentioned in the programming description, but that doesn't mean much if the one(s) they're looking to hire are going to be at it sometime this year.

I agree! No hopes for the story stuff though. I don't think Atlus can write a character with the depth and nuance of Tiny Tina.

It's not that I don't trust them, it's just that both attempts at a SMT Online game were pretty lousy games at best. I do have to question why they chose CAVE for Imagine and not some other developer that's experienced with this kind of stuff. Because they did a pretty awful job at translating the game series into a MMO if you ask me.
EDIT: Yeah, NINE was done by Nex Entertainment, I haven't played it beyond saying that I know of it's existence, but I'll say if it was bad that they couldn't even get the servers up for the game, then that rings alarm bells in my head.

Imagine went down in NA yea. JP is still up and when NA went down it was still way behind JP in content anyways.
Tiny Tina is annoying but not that bad imo, no character in BL is that good, they just spout "funny" things or pop culture references everywhere.

So I've heard, yeah. Anthony Burch created her for the sequel and she's voiced by his sister Ashley. She's this little girl but she's very vulgar and speaks in Ebonics and LOLOLOL THE IRONY.
I haven't played the game either, but people have said it's pretty corny and it sounds like it. I thought I had heard that from you once before, but I'm mistaken!

If you don't like middle school humor, pop culture references, or characters that act "funny" by being random then you probably won't like 80% of Borderlands characters
I hate Claptrap and was embarrassed that he won character of the year in 2012 on the VGAs (lol).
I don't mind the "main characters", it's just they're not in the game a whole hell of a lot/silent protagonists. If any game really needed dialogue and stuff from the MCs, this one is it.
They focused more on the gameplay, which is fine, but with a kind of meh story with very little interesting supporting cast, I just find myself losing interest quickly. Stopped B1 and B2 in roughly the same amount of time played, just didn't find them fun. And I had looked forward to the "idea" I guess of Tiny Tina, until I met her in game, and just, no.

True but Saints Row finds a way to add charm to its lines. Borderlands has lines like "I'm the conductor of the poop train!" Yep.

Personally, im hoping that there will be a massive timeskip between 4 and 5, and that we get to see a cameo of grown up Narukami, Chie, and Nanako.
Would be kool to see Vincent and Orlando on the toiler aswell.
