I don't think anyone is going for a lynch that isn't Style. Just discussing how things have unfolded so far and what that could mean as far as his role and any other potential roles.

Eh. Does it matter? The only one I'd like to hear more from is Style himself, but I doubt that'd even matter much at this point.

I'd be totally fine with a turbo at this point when discussion's pretty much completely halted and when it'll stay that way until this Day's over. Unless another Townie feels like role claiming ala StarSketch.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with Fran and FEP's discussion, but a far simpler explanation is that Style is a Shadow. He lied about his role, the Shadows lynched Sorian and Ty4on died because he investigated Style or another Shadow.

Sure, the convoluted theory that Style's not lying and everything happened that way (or he's a neutral PR) could be true, it's just less plausible until we lynch him and find out.

When the dust clears after Night 2, we'll have a better idea whether two or more people are being killed each night and a SK is on the loose.

I'll reiterate that nothing productive is happening if we don't lynch Style, he keeps saving himself, and doesn't participate in discussion -- assuming his claims are true.

If Style is shadow I don't think Ty was killed by an investigation. If Style flips scum that means he was lying, even when he said that Ty wasn't an option to save. So that would mean he was following an agenda when he said that.

This is what I've kind of been feeling. Feel like ty was convenient. Would be inclined to expect Style to be an extra scum kill if he flips scum. The only word thing is him not being here now. If the plan was to save the extra kill n1 and give up why bother with the stuff from sorian today? Mission already accomplished.

I find it weird that Sorian targeted Style. I still don't understand why would he. Style was either scum or a main target last night so what could Sorian gain from that. Maybe Sorian wanted to get Style's reads before he was killed, but if Style is scum maybe Sorian didn't targeted him but one of his partners. They let Style claim that was visited by Sorian to gain credit and to modify Sorian reads to their benefit.

Until Style flips we shouldn't trust anything that he said.

Yeah, it's possible. If he doesn't target Style, I think it's safe to assume it was another scum. Doesn't matter too much at this point.

I'm not in favor of turboing Style because I want to see who comes rushing in to vote before the deadline. I don't think the Shadows are going to rush in to save potential-teammate Style, but rather push his lynching through. Might only be one or two of them if that's what they need.

Might as well make it harder for them.

Ahh, I see what happened. He was using the highlight command to draw attention to his comments, and it picked up on "Unvote" because nothing else in that command was valid.

As a reminder, please do not use the highlight command for non-command related purposes. Hyper, as this was your mistake, I'm treating that unvote as valid to save myself a headache. So make sure you revote if you need to.

I'm not sure I agree with this logic. If Style flips scum everything he said about his role will be thrown out. There would have been no choice about who to save, etc. That doesn't change that Ty may still have been killed investigating someone. There's frankly too many unknowns to really say. If two Town die tonight after a Style as scum lynch then we can probably say Ty was just killed by scum outright. Even that could be argued against depending on who the two are if say one of them was suspected by several of us as being scum.

This is a really good point though and something I hadn't considered at all. However this does bring up another point..

You were given a Town read from Sorian. He once even referred to you as co-leader of Town with him I believe. It might be entirely too convenient that you were the first to think of and suggest this possibility. Perhaps because you didn't have to think too hard to come up with it.

More that the idea of Sorian picking someone he suspected was town but was really scum and that this scum then fed the info to Style. Sorian referenced you as co-town leader. Sorian believed you were likely Town. Hyper now very much believes you are scum. It's just curious to me is all. Not enough to make me reach a conclusion but could tip the scales given enough evidence.

Sorian was just another player. I'm more interested in who Style tried to protect if he is scum.

Yes I get this. I'm just saying the argument could be made that Sorian may have been likely to pick you. I could have missed it but I don't recall this particular theory being discussed much so seeing it suggested by someone that had a better than average chance of being picked who has already been accused of being scum by another player gives me pause is all.

I understand where you're coming from, but if I were Sorian I wouldn't pick Fran. Instead I'd pick someone liable to give me information or someone that would help consolidate my vote base, not someone that probably wouldn't do both. Chat is a very obscure power role after all.

Yeah, I will say I don't particularly understand the benefit of such a role. The only thought I had about it was the ability to discuss opinions in private but I don't see how that would be applied super well.

Yeah, it's tough to utilize. It's mostly making divisions in town though (Basketball or Soccer) to help you maybe not get lynched or shot.

Unless I'm here for day end, not voting today. Just to make clear where I'm at since I'm personally a vote bot in that's how I primarily hunt scum, my vote would probably be on black Buzzard if there was a point. Second in zipped or sketch but there's too much information missing. Vanguard would also be a possibility. Hopefully I'm around later to keep track. Never explained last day end but i set my alarm for the wrong day and slept through. Was content with results though.

I believe I've also already stated if it wasn't for Style I would be voting for BlackBuzzard or Vanguard.

I still need to head back and read everything that happened yesterday evening (real time, not game time), but did Star ever say what her power role is?

If not, why not? I get that she says it's dangerous for town somehow, but if she's telling the truth about being a PR townie, she's likely going to be a target for a scum lynch at night, right? And in that case, we'd see her role PM at the beginning of day three anyway, right?

So why not just share what she's claiming to be?

She did not, she felt it could be detrimental to Town and her odds to live. Maybe her role offers her some form of protection.

I'be been working on a theory, but I think all it will do is get me killed today. Day 1 when we come back I will post my theory. Style being scum doesn't impact The theory, but I do feel his Lynch is the most likely for thto day.

But then how would that be detrimental to town? I know there are tons of roles that could be in the game, but the healer types I've heard of (doctor and nurse) don't hurt townies if discussed.

To be clear, I'm not fishing. She's already exposed herself (or is trying to lead town to believe she did). I'm just looking to understand, and mostly thinking out loud.

Because her role maybe only works if she remains anonymous? Something like a bodyguard. If scum knows who she is they will target her first and then she will be of no use to town.
