Had to check what this game is and holy moly...its still in early access since 2020! :messenger_tears_of_joy: But seems to be a pretty nice co-op game.

Bought it a couple of months ago and i play with my friends. Very fun game with a handful memorable moments every time we play.

I'm genuinely surprised people haven't heard of this. It's really just a fun/silly game to play with friends, that's about it. It started as VR, but then they allowed non-VR players. I think the whole VR aspect made it hit a bit harder and more immersive. But I'm sure the non VR version is still fun, especially with pals.

I was aware it was successful since lots of people in my friend list play it occasionally. But 25 millions? Holy shit.

I played it a few years back and it was in a pretty rough state. Although, coincidentally, the other day a couple friends were saying they've gone back to it recently and so we're maybe going to play it again soon. It sounds like it still needs some work, but it has come a long way since I last played.

I bought this game and played it solo in VR. It was so spooky I asked my friend to get a copy to play flat-screen with me lol

Had no idea it was this huge.

If you're an indie dev the path to success is to make a meme game that idiot teenagers see idiot streamers playing.

In fact that might be the ONLY path to success.

Maybe, but made more money than your average AAA who's in dev 6 yers and sell 5mill copies

its the best kind of horror game. The kind that's not scripted. Its a simple co-op game but honestly its easily up there as one of my favorite indie games.

Its such a simple concept but it gathered so much of a following over the years that theres plenty of copy cat games on steam (ghost hunter inc., demonologist, forewarned, ghost watchers, devour to name a few)

Never saw the appeal, it always seemed like a game meant for the streamer generation.

There are plenty of memers who play the game because streamers play but there are also plenty of people, myself included, who play it straight-faced.
You pick a map and with that the ghost type, their favorite room, the cursed item, and the location of the bone are all randomized so trying to get a perfect game is part of a fun little loop that feels different with each match.

It's not for everyone but its nice to play when you want to play a game thats simply a game and not just a AAA movie with occasional game inputs
