Wasn't this rumored already?

The class 3/4 stuff, yeah. Basically having State of Decay be the groundwork for their MMO of the same idea.

SoD is great and is the second fastest selling XBLA title behind minecraft, so this has potential to be really big.

That is awesome news for the Class 4 project that Undead Lab's had talked about prior the release of State of Decay. Sounded pretty much a Day Z like experience with all the cool RPG elements that are in State of Decay now.

Really looking forward to the survival mode on State of Decay, hope its a free update.

good game, I finished it a few days ago.

edit: Oh this is talking about the multiplayer version of state of decay? man, that could be awesome!

Huge potential. Class 4 for XB1 and PC will make for the ultimate (cross-play hopefully) zombie game. Excited with the amount of MMO's possibly coming to next gen consoles.

Rygar 8 Bit

Jaguar 64-bit
would rather class 4 be a bigger budget state of decay with more depth added but its always been set to be a mmo still interested in it

Principate

Saint Titanfall
I'm highly expecting at least a PC version for the mmo game remember this game is being made by mostly by former GW2 developers (plus a founder of ArenaNet etc).

It would be rather ironic if they're next mmo game didn't make it to pc. Hopefully it's B2P also.

Will be very interesting to see what State of Decay becomes. Playing over the last three nights, it is a blast and at times surprises in whats its trying to do for a £10 game. Could do with a big patch though.

Not sure a traditional MMO is the way to go, 100 people running around could make the world seem too populated. Would like them to go more the route of a small number of players (maybe 10 or so) with each player running their own base camp and have there own group of characters.

I just want an Xbone version of the current game. Reading about the technical issues put me off purchasing it. Up-res that same game, chuck it up to a solid 30fps and I'm in.

I'd love to see more, but not necessarily a MMO. I'd just be happy with 2-4 player online coop. Even a bit bigger, but a full blown MMO? Not for me, personally.

Give these devs a bigger budget and I'm sure they can do great things. If the next project turns out to be hugely multiplayer focused then they have themselves a costumer.

Oddly, I'm quite fussy about that sort of stuff, but the gameplay was such that I didn't really care/notice it often.

I wish I could do that, this game has some of the worst frame rate drops I have ever seen. It was like a watching a powerpoint presentation when two hordes were on screen. Also the pop in has caused several car crashes :)

But saying that I am still enjoying the scope of the game and most of the gameplay.

Best new console game this year, IMO. Looking forward to what this studio cooks up, even if it's focused only on the zombie apocalypse. Their vision of it is just flat out the best there is on the market.

If Microsoft is wise, they will bring these guys into the fold as a MS game studio for 1st party output. They could be the "zombie" team.

Indeed. MS already own the IP, might as well try to make a play for the studio too. I can't imagine anyone else making a SoD game going forward. Undead Labs did an incredible job and I've said it so many times that it may have lost all meaning, but they set the bar extremely high and it will be interesting to see if any other developers are able to reach or even exceed their amazing work in SoD.

State of Decay MMO/Class4 is without a doubt one of my most anticipated next gen games.

Yep. 100& in agreement.

Get it done Phil!

If they are to scale up to a MMO type game they are going to need a lot more staff. If MS owns the IP maybe an internal studio can offer some help to Undead Labs (who would still lead development) sort of like what Sony Santa Monica do with smaller studios.
