Yeah it's mean, but a lot people are fed up with the pandering and realize being the nice quiet little church mouse not only isn't accomplishing anything, it's further embolding and enabling said pander.

If C.K. offered me an underwear modeling gig, I know full well I'm the pander hire voluntarily entering a public figure role and expect internet shitposting at my expense. Part of the job, she bears some responsibility accepting or persuing the role in the first place.
