The MW reboot is solid for sure and not a bad game by any stretch but multiplayer and single player included id say is not exactly what id describe as an excellent experience. Nothing IMO that will stick to the ribs like a cod4. Unfortunately id say this applies to all the entries since cod4. WaW and blops1 &2 were good as well as the other MW entries but not excellent imo. Core gameplay/shooter mechanics being as good as they are obviously they can get away with this sales wise year after year. Also have to mention the frequency in which these software updates roll out and how borderline ridiculous and unacceptable(but i do)it is. These arent small updates either. Most current one being almost 40 gb. I cant remember the last time i went to boot this game up and have it just start. First you wait for the initial update and then once the game is booted up then its time to install "shaders" . Activision must assume this is the only game people will have on their system and honestly in a lot of cases theyre probably not wrong. Nothing you can do considering the popularity of it but in a perfect world i wish they could be humbled when it comes to this series. The result of a poor selling entry would probably produce an excellent iteration that we havent seen in quite a while because we all know they'd make sure of it to not mess up the flow of their annual gravy train lol. Id like to vote with my wallet and not buy it for one year but i get suckered in time and time again and lets be real what would one less sale even matter. Anyways just a thought...
