Heh, exactly. Hell, there are people who keep tigers as pets...and I assume not all of 'em have decided to use their respective owners for a chew toy. Doesn't mean they should be pets though.

Anyway, the mutt in this case appeared to have been defending it's turf, and that's something I'll always respect in ANY case, from a cockroach to a fucking suicide bomber. If it had simply tried to attack the porcupine without reason, I would go to the vet it's at and laugh in it's fucking pointy face. Er, behind a caged door.
It's also interesting that far more sympathy was being shown for the dog then the porcupine, even before the other details was revealed. Which might say everything, or nothing. Just found it curious.
