Star Wars will be the better film. I can't make up my mind it it'll be on par with Avengers in terms of box office, or completely nuke any and all numbers before it.

No interest in KH, sorry.

Don't think anything will touch Star Wars for the next few years.

I don't think the Avenger movies were all that great, but I liked them a lot more than both Star Trek movies. Those were pretty awful. And then there's Super 8...

Anyway, I think the new Star Wars movie has the potential to outdo the Avenger movies money-wise. Seems to me there's already more hype surrounding it. Just looking at the number of threads related to it popping up here on GAF. And I imagine the ratio of comic book fans is a lot higher here than in the general movie going public.

Age of Ultron was horrible, James Spader was the only thing I liked about that movie, how much it fell off from the first film was crazy, it didntt deserve half the money that movie made.


Star Wars though, I got more feeling and emotion from that trailer than I did the last 3 films, emotion....something age of Ultron never had

Hmm. Possibly, but I think Thor is an ancient Marvel brand that has been around for many years. I consider that one a fairly well known property. As well known as any individual X-Men character outside of Wolverine who is obviously the bread winner among them.

Age of Ultron is a lock to be one of the best comic book movies ever. The RT score won't be less than 85%.

Star Wars VII is looking good so far and I think it will review well (even Into Darkness did), but it could prove to be too similar to the first movie.

That being said, Star Wars will definitely have the bigger box office, so I think you're safe.

Well there is a high chance Avengers will review better and will have a better box office.
