IT FUCKING BLEW!!!! I mean teh games r teh suxxors. PS3 has teh bettor graphix! HAHAHAHHLOLOLOLOL!!!!1111
Probably what you expected right?
I actually liked it. I played Kameo and King Kong (fuck war games), both games had amazing graphics and animation. Kameo had Rare's trademark humor when it came to enemies, the art style is good, the stone textures looked fucking awesome. However when it came to the actual gameplay, it was a bit dissapointing. Playing as the ice ape was fun since you could grab onto walls and throw ice spears, but combat isn't that fun with the 3 transformations I played. Playing as the armadillo is like playing the morph-ball sections of Metroid Prime, except they make you fight a lot more and there aren't any smart or challenging puzzles (from the bit I played). The boxer (which I thought would be the most fun to play), turned out to be the most boring. Since the main reason you use this transformation is combat, and the combat isn't fun or challenging at all. I only played for about 10-15 minutes (3 of those were watching cut-scenes and being surprised at how good it looks), so this isn't really fair to judge the whole game after, but still I was a bit dissapointed.
King Kong on the other hand was fucking awesome. The graphics were great (T-Rex looks FUCKING AMAZING!!), and the animation was superb. I played the part of the demo where you go up against the T-Rex as King Kong. The controls took a little getting used to but after a while that T-Rex was getting his ass whupped. Even though there is almost no blood, the game really feels brutal and violent thanks to the amazing visuals and animation. Putting the T-Rex into a headlock and then smashing his head into a wall ROCKED! Seeing him take bites out of King Kong was fucking crazy, but seeing King Kong prying his jaw open and then snapping his neck to finish him of was even crazier.
The controller felt really nice, melts in your hand, but its a little smaller than the S-Controller and I don't really care for the shoulder buttons. Its a good thing they kept the triggers though. All in all I was pleasantly surprised that the graphics were actually quite good, and how awesome King Kong was. Though I'm not buying a 360 this year, I might just buy one next year.
