Okay, Asian servers are actually much better. I got 5 easy kills and only died because I had so much loot and so many people to shoot that I got caught behind the blue and would have made it if I had more room in my pack for another first aid (I thought I had picked it up).

Absolutely. I think most melee weapons do that if you hit the head of someone without a helmet. Even just a punch that hits the head does a crapload of damage.
What is all that bad talk about VSS!
I got it about 3 times so far and its amazing, not in every single situation like AR with red dot and 8x but in close to medium range its godtier.
Sure it doesnt kill with 3 bullets like other guns but you can spam it like UMP that has 4x scope, is accurate and makes no sound.

How that is possible ? I mean with the distance and everything ? All servers are not Amazon's ?
People with bad ping have edge over rest I think, thats why you also win more fights in other regions.

It's definitely the discipline that will make you win games. Not taking any fights, have the patience to wait 5-10 minutes in a house... Amazing, i think it's my favorite online shooter ever.
Also, I would have died much earlier my last game, but JUST as someone was about to run in front of me, the whole game froze and said there were network problems. The person teleported a bit, then freeze, network problems.
Eventually it unfroze and they kept sprinting across the landscape, never noticing me or stopping..

What's the reason they are going to disable family sharing for new accounts?

I believe it is to prevent banned accounts from just playing on family share accounts.
Got 4th last night in a solo match...then I couldn't fall asleep..this game...
The circle ended up right on the rocky hills near the west coast, just south of the bridges. The game literally turned from a city combat / forest combat game, into a rocky Afghanistan style of combat, I had the drop on the guy who killed me to, but in 3rd person I couldn't tell that my gun was blocked by a small jagged rock, reticule was on his head, but the bullets didn't make it...then I got deaded.

My pro tip is don't wait, always push. It's much more advantageous to be the aggressor.
Can anyone recommend a good streamer (Twitch or preferably Youtube) to watch for this game, perhaps someone who manages to win some firefights here and there without feeling completely OP? Someone with some humor even? Cheers!
I've been enjoying Austin and Patrick doing their Breakfast and Battlegrounds daily episodes but (A) I need more and (B) they seem to lose pretty much each actual encounter. Giant Bomb's coverage, while also nice, seems to have run its course for now and suffered from (B) as well.
Man, even watching this game is quite addicting!

This is almost always true in PUBG. Patience goes a long way, but when your back is against the wall, being a total badass goes way longer
I typically watch Ninja, Summit, JoshOG, Viss, DrDisrespect... they win a lot (well sometimes) but they're all a lot of fun to watch.
I like Kross on mixer: https://mixer.com/Kross Almost nobody watches him, but he's really good. And he also explains almost everything he does, where enemies can be and why, etc.
Others I like are Aculite and StoneMountain64 on YT (videos).
This game could use a stance system like the one in Arma 3. The shitty height of the windows making you too exposed while standing, but making you unable to shoot out the window while crouching would really be alleviated like this.
While they're at it, they should bring in weapon resting from Arma 3 too. There's really a lot of stuff from the Arma 3 version that needs to be in this game.

I found the mother of all loadouts in Lipovka... Got a VSS, SCAR+Suppressor, and a 1911 with Suppressor all sitting in the far hanger. I ended up dying almost immediately after because I was so excited about getting that VSS (which ended up doing shit all- makes sense since its using 9mm bullets)

So me and my friend queued Duos the other day and we got a third person.... Was actually pretty hilarious and he ended up communicating well with us when my friend went down. Still, super weird bug haha

Finally bought the game after watching Giant Bomb's streams for the past few weeks.
Steam says I've played for 76 minutes. Got to #8. Not bad!
I was hiding in the bushes and someone drove up in a buggy and was looking though the nearby buildings. Didn't see them, but I hopped in the buggy and drove off. Don't think they noticed!
I don't have a microphone but I may pick one up just to play this game. Never really joined an online community for an online game before, but may have a peek at the NeoGAF discord.

I see your marker though...Head to that city just North of you & I bet you're willing to take a lot more chances after getting loaded up on Level 3 gear & almost any weapon you want.
My favorite spot in the game. Definitely a bitch post-car patch though...

I like watching grimmmz and anthony_kongphan. They're each super good at the game and have a laid back and fun loving style about them and seem like genuinely nice guys. They also sometimes duo together and have a great rapport.
Yeah they're my favorite too. Been watching them for a couple weeks now. They're my top 2 and the only other I like are Viss and DrDisrespect, sometimes they play together and it's fun. Also Stonemountain64 makes some of my favorite videos but I don't think he uses twitch at all.
