Sell them now. Wanderer and survivor are the new "regular" crates and won't be phased out for a while. The only crates worth hoarding are the Gamescom ones, and even those you can probably sell now and buy them back in a couple of days for cheaper.
Should I open the crates to try and get an item that sells more or just sell them?
Hadn't heard this. The item pool is going to stay the same for them as well?

It seems duo fpp only has issues on EU servers, works fine on NA, can see the player indicators and names fine.

I have barely played this game so pardon the noob question. Cabt i have a run down of the crate system. Is it just buying with currency you make in game are are there any completely free crates to be earned?

Dang! Just played my first FPP on live, got second. Also, if the Gamescom boxes are any thing like the PTR versions, expect school pants. Lots and lots of school pants. I opened the 5 on the PTR and got 3 pairs of school pants. Whoever gets anything really rare out of there will probably be sitting on a gold mine.
FP mode is more stressful and intense in a game that is already stressful and intense. Third person is more chill. For that reason, if I had to guess, I'd say third person remains most popular among the general playerbase.

Damn FP is intense, I like it a lot. First game came third, because I still fucked up weapon fire rates and had it single shot in an up close encounter, dammit.
Wait, so is everything back to normal, or is F looting now "as fast" as drag and drop?

Drag and drop has been reverted to how it was.
F was going to be instant like drag and drop, but they changed their minds and just made it slightly faster than it was before.

It is all purely cosmetic and adds no game advantage to you? Who cares? That my general position with cosmetic additions, why bother getting upset when you can still play the game perfectly fine?

I just tried a colorblind mode and it made the red zone circle on the map bright yellow green and the sight reticles blue.

I sold a shirt for £13.50 earlier. This game is great 
The person peeking/waiting at a corner has a pure advantage though. 3pp is hardly competitive.
I'm not even colourblind and I usually turn on those settings. I've just found the changes to be much nicer than normal.

But if you use corners/cover the same way it cancels that advantage out. Like I said, everyone can use the perspective in the same way.

They can use it the same way but at the same time its not necceserily equal either. The way the game forces circle rng can push you towards areas where a person peeking with 3pp advantage is going to kill you. There is no countering this especially at high levels of play.
Its a really big rabbithole to go down arguing this so im going to stop haha

Okay here is the secret downside in FPP: if you're trying to back up you will have a higher chance of getting caught on something you can't see at all.

Depends if you want to gamble or not. In average, selling them is the smarter option. On the other hand it's possible you can hit the jackpot and get a 150$ skirt.
I was super pissed. Had a solid load out (for me anyways) and was more or less centre of the circle.

Not exactly, peeking from right corner has a huge advantage over peeking left, so one guy is usually going to be at a disadvantage.
Because you hold the gun on your right side, and therefore have to expose more of yourself round the corner to shoot without obstruction during a left shoulder peek.
