It seems sometimes there is issues with gsync in some games.
generally as long as a game allows you to disable vsync it will work, i think there have been exceptions but pubg is fine

No kidding. I will only ever play in first person. Yet the game insists on resetting to 3rd person every time I'm kicked back to the main menu. Grrrrrrr.

Didn't even know that was possible, I only got the game yesterday so I'm still super noob, although I did have my best solo game today. #6 with 3 kills which for me is a massive improvement.
Yeah, I sold one of the special ones for £1.52 and a basic one for £0.80 after fees, so £2.32 from one day of barely playing, at this rate the game will pay for itself in about 10 days which is crazy.

If you catch a tiny bit of air on a 2-wheel bike, if your back wheel hits the ground first it can send you into the spiral frontflip you experienced.
Tap left control when you catch air to lean your front wheel down so that it lands first. If your front wheel lands first 95% of the time you will maintain control.
You can immediately sell items from crates that you buy only with in-game points. The free crates and their contents have no market restriction. Only crates & their contents that are purchased for real cash have the 7 day hold.

The bike is fucking life. I've made incredible plays with the bike. It's god-tier.
Now the bike with sidecar, that thing can fuck right off.
Seriously just tap left control whenever you get air and it's fine, haha.
Take the finger you usually leave on shift for boost off of it and put it on control instead, don't hold it down, but just tap it whenever you go up a little incline.
Learning to air control the 2 person bike and going at full speed all around the map without concern is amazing. It's super fun and you can cover distance really fast.

If only the bumps that send this bike to death city were actually inclines you can see and antecipate. Nope, you'll just be bumped out of nowhere and it will flip the fuck out. Using control in those situations does nothing.

I suspect it's harder to get that bike to land right in first person?
But it's also more forgiving I think. The other day I landed and must have done 2 front flips on the ground before the game ejected me with only a slight bit of damage. I can't see the tires so I don't know how it's going to land.

I disagree with that. Your use case is valid for something like editing the sensitivity settings per camera option, it's something everybody should take advantage for, it's not explicitly told but it's in the realm of possible to actually find out by yourself by simple observation.
This is a obscure unintended feature that is not bad enough to be removed or debugged and it's impossible to actually find out about this without actually stumbling on it on internet, like I did after 100h of gameplay and a few dinners.
Either way I'm not looking to blame anyone for using it, just stating my point of view.

Will gamescom chests stay in inventory after the deadline or should I just unlock or unload them?
Check GPU utilization %, not surprised if it's 100% or nearly 100%. When pushing settings to realm of High across the board game gets very GPU heavy.

I know this isnt a popular thought but I really wish this had a DeathMatch option where it would put you in on the spawn island with random weapons and 15-20 people like CSGO.
I just cant seem to get used to the weapons when I use them so little in most games. DM would definitely let me get used to them.

they really need to add a shooting range with static and moving targets and all of the weapons plus attachments

Take the time at the start of a random game to do some target practice, use trees etc. Otherwise play squad games, more chance to shoot. Hang back and let your teammates be more agressive, you can then try some shots from a safer distance.

yes, and its one of the games were its a real godsend
It's not obvious, but I found this on the Nvidia website:
To enable this game-enhancing technology, simply select a Post Processing detail level other than Very Low from the in-game settings menu.

I believe the site said postprocessing higher than very low turns it on automatically.

Totally, I only average like 50 frames at 3440x1440 and dip below that regularly, but with G-sync you can't even tell.

That I have no idea about. You could try to take a screenshot on the spawn island somewhere, then turn postprocess up and restart, then take the same screenshot again. Then post both pictures and we can guess if HBAO+ is on.

You need GamesCon crate for it to give you option to purchase key from in-game menu. DO NOT purchase keys from Steam market!
Play the game to earn BP.
Spend BP on two different types of crates: Free crates, or paid crates (require a key to open). Right now the Paid crates are called Gamescom crates. Each crate you buy will increase the BP required to open another crate of that type.
After buying a Gamescom crate, click on it in your inventory to open up the crate dialog, which allows you to buy a key directly from the developer for $2.50.
Anything you spend real money on can be traded to the market after 7 days. DO NOT BUY KEYS FROM THE MARKETPLACE unless they're <$2.50 - there's no reason to buy them from the marketplace.

Judging from the screenshot comparisons, it makes everything quite a bit darker. Guess I'll have to make sure my post proc is set to very low.
I'm all for good graphical tech but PUBG is certainly not a game where I would sacrifice FPS and visual clarity for something like HBAO. Especially since performance is already way lower than it should be on my GTX 1070.

That's how I feel, I have to play on a mix of very low, low and medium to keep a reasonable frame rate with a GTX 970 and they're improving the graphics? I'd rather they optimised the game a little so I could improve the graphics by ya know, moving up to high or ultra settings.
Ambient Occlusion makes things darker in a sense but it improves visibility and sense of depth.
Always sell at the end of the week (Sunday) when people can't easily buy new ones in game.

I have a 6600K at 4.2 GHz + a 1070 + 16 GB RAM + SSD and my frame rate absolutely tanks once I get near any of the major cities. It's really irritating. This is on a mix of low and medium settings too, minus maxed out view distance.
Kinda wish optimization was a higher priority
