Oh yeah right, the new moto is great. It's really speedy and it's very good to go through hills and fields. It can endure bumps better than the others vehicles.

I found it only one time but i used it my whole playthrough and it get me to the second spot.

I was full tier 3, full health with a friend. We pushed into a solo guy, suddenly everyone starts running in place, both of us dead instantly, and he's untouched reloading his gun in front of us

managed to down AND kill a dude in one shotgun shot in duo's today for the first time in 108 hrs played. Didn't think that was possible, and it actually killed me since I thought he was the last man standing in his group since he died instantly - I went up to loot him and put my guard down and his buddy killed me

oh well, got a win today anyway. Silenced UMP is still crazy strong.

Just played this 1st time. Spent 90% of it wandering around an 8 house hamlet trying to remember if I'd already looted this house. Killed 1 dude with AK by hip firing, cos I forgot it was tap to use iron sights, came 11th.

Noticed this last night, first time me or my friends have seen it happen.

Got a good win the other day, some guy sat shooting at me out of a window whilst I was hiding behind a bus. He had his arm showing which I shot at, just enough for him to get killed by the moving circle.

I think the strategy used to be to land for a guaranteed car and drive far away from the plane path.

Since the removal of guaranteed cars, you can't really spend time looking for one unless you see it immediately, otherwise everything else will get looted and you won't have gear. You really just need to directly drop into something, be it city or a few compounds.

It's still pretty slow unless you drop in the cities/hot zones where you'll have to fight a lot of people quickly.

I think it can be played either way and both might be viable and both will require a little luck.

My first win was an early drop with a slug fest. I was lucky to find an ok shotty and was able to kill three people very quickly, one of which was carrying a x8 scopped gun. So i had decent long and short range. SO I continued to attack the entire game and ended up winning. played it like Battlefield.

The second time i won (above) i essentially crawled everywhere and barely interacted with anyone.

Both seem valid.

So, I don't post much, but I've read every page of this thread over the past few weeks. Love the videos from everyone, fun thread. (lol at the guy saying inventory drag animations ruin the game 100% (for him)).

Steam shows I'm 40 hours in and the best rank I've gotten so far has been #3 (solo only).

Maybe it's my playstyle? If I get home from work, and if the roommate is watching/doing something I don't care enough about, I bust open a bottle of whiskey and PUBG.

That being said, I went from 3rd the first round after I got home tonight to high 80's minutes before I posted...

Most of my time has been in solo, but yesterday I decided to get on some Discord servers and try squad games. They are sooo much more fun and less stressful that I don't really ever want to go back to solo. Having others to talk during the downtimes and to bounce ideas off of is so much better than sitting in a room by myself. Was starting to get just a bit tired of this game, but now I really enjoy squads and can't wait to play more!

Just got my first Chicken Dinner!

Although, I didn't kill anybody and I was knocked out at the very end in the Squad game. Still, that was awesome. Basically our squad didn't run into a single person until the very end in probably the last couple of circle shrinks.

Its always crazy in a squad game when the circle shrinks down super small in some open field and yet you know there are at least 8 guys there. Super tense.

Yeah, I think somebody mentioned playing Solo is like a survival horror game where going around every corner and through every door is tense but Squads is a little more laid back at least until you get into a tiny circle at the end.

I can't say for sure, but iron sights aiming felt amazing as did scope. I also got a few third person kills and those felt smooth as well.

Similar squad dynamics. If you played DayZ like I did where my buddies would gear up and take a city or defend a city then it's similar but you gotta keep pace due to the circle.

my friend has this, and he has no idea why it is happening. He is sometimes talking about a box appearing for a split second on the left side when it is happening, but we haven't been able to figure out what's going on.
