As crazy as it may seem, the guy actually does have real connections in the industry. So, it's by no means unrealistic that he already knows what the numbers look like. Or at least knows where each console falls in terms of positioning.

I'm sure they've in the last 4 months managed to sell 1.14 millions (and whatever shipped but at the time unsold quantity). And Nintendo suffered from a whole year of shitty software, and it's really only now that they've managed to output a respectable amount of quality games.

The PS4 in turn had that respectable amount of quality games from the get-go, so no wonder it has been selling so well, but I'm saying Nintendo will catch up to that and be able to compete.

Last year it took them months to sell 400,000 Wii-U. I doubt that they sold 1.14 million.

Which is why I think that, if anything will be surprising today, it might be that the difference is actually somewhat large this month, thus closing the gap.

Yeah, but let's think about this. NO ONE will be surprised if XBO wins March. Depending on where you went it was a cheap as a PS4 and came with TitanFall, "Game of E3 2013", for free. It had a massive media blitz. Nothing but positive feedback from the beta, and most definitely why XBO was within 30k PS4 in Feb instead of 100k behind like in January.

Realistically Wii U isn't going to take it despite it having a better library now vs. half a year ago. 3DS could, yeah, but it wouldn't be the first time a handheld beat a console in NPD and that's nothing worth getting crazy about. Vita? Lol. That thing is a joke at this point, sales-wise. Most people are expecting TitanFall to outsell InFamous for March, and since that was a pack-in in the US and InFamous wasn't, that's even more guaranteed.

Maybe DS2 or MGSV outsold everything? I kinda doubt that. Thief? Eh, not really. Those are great games I'm sure, but they didn't have the push (or the hype) TitanFall had. So that only leaves us with one other possibility: despite everything MS and retailers did, despite all the price cuts and bundles....XBO still lost March NPD.

We'll find out soon. Well, I'll find out at 7...dinnertime and whatnot.

Had not heard of that guy before, but I try to pay as little attention as possible to that sort of thing. 100K tweets.... yikes.

Anyway, I still think Microsoft won March, but not to an extent that will effect the global install base gap. E3 will interesting, since we've basically already seen an unofficial price drop on Xbox One.

Bish going to bunker because Xbone outsold PS4, people think he's going to the bunker because PS4 outsold Xbone, everyone expects PS4 to outsold Xbone, NPD release the numbers : Xbone outsold PS4, no one saw Xbone outselling PS4, GAF explodes, Bish is in the bunker watching and laughing
(and banning)
at people in meltdowns.

X1 - 350k
