The E3 where Sony announced PS4's absence of mandatory online DRM, they brought the house down. IMO, it was this surge of support and enthusiasm from hardcore gamers that set the PS4 up for a virtuous cycle of success. I hope Sony doesn't forget that. Treat your customers well, respect their interests, and they will support your products.

How time flies, PS1 bootup was very impressionable, so was PS2's and it's menu and crystal clock.

A small question is the 13.5 million units sold directly to consumer? it says shipped worldwide! I remember sir Andrew House mentioned the words sold directly to consumer back at Gamescom.

I was there with the PS1 and what an amazing little machine it was. Then the PS2 came and blew everything out of the water. They seemed to muddle through with the PS3 ( I was X360 that gen) but now the king is back. I'm looking forward to this gen and to what Sony can bring.
