Playstation GAF, what was your first Platinum Trophy?

You don't care about the platinum but you still did the very specific things that are only relevant to specific trophies, such as only using boost?

That's like the gaming equivalent of "This is just something I just threw on".
Well I did most of Resogun trophies in co-op with a friend who care about them. I got those specific trophies because I was helping him. If it was a solo game I would not bother with them.

My first platinum was Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, which was also one of the first PS3 games I bought.

Fuuuuuuck that jetski chapter on crushing..

I've never platinumed anything. or golded on Microsoft consoles either.

I only bought a playstation 3 bout 2 years ago so I could play GT5 after I was done I sold it.

Resogun. Few games compel me to want to obtain every possible achievement. So far the only other games I've maxed out are CoD4 and Dark Souls. Can't be arsed with the Bladestone shit for Demon's or I would do that too.

Final Fantasy XIII! All of my other PS3 games have Platinums that seem not worth the effort, although I haven't started on many of them. FF13's was pretty easy so I figured why not.

Resogun. I've never really cared about trophies but I needed an excuse to keep playing the game. The trophies felt like a challenge without being absolutely insane. Since then, I've gotten platinums in Guacamelee and Sound Shapes.

Any game that has a lot of replay value and isn't too out there with its trophies, I'll try to get them from here on out.

The closest I ever got to Platinum-ing a game was AC2. It's at 98% if I'm not mistaken. But it's seriously such a pain to find all those small little flags.

I enjoy the challenge that platinuming a game can bring but I just don't have the drive to commit myself to it.

Rock Band 2. I did "Bladder of Steel" and stacked all of the Endless Setlist 2 difficulty trophies (medium, hard, expert) at once on one of my days off. Mountain Dew prior to starting was a bad choice.

I had a buddy tell me it wasn't that big of an accomplishment. I challenged him to do it, not pausing or going to the bathroom in the middle of it. He only lasted 30 songs.

I've got ten Platinums now, working towards #11 (Star Ocean: The Last Hope International...five trophies away).

My only platinum trophy was for Guacamelee. That accomplishment is marred by the fact that 19.26% of people who played the game got the trophy.

But then I thought... holy shit, that's awesome! The game is so fun that almost 20% of people beat it twice, went searching for the orbs, completed the trial, and bothered to find every single chest. That's a testament to how fun Guacamelee is.
