I know others disagree but when it comes to graphics I'm seeing nowhere near a PS2-->PS3 jump. Still impressive, just not what I was really expecting.

As for the complexity of the games, Watch Dogs looks next-gen.

No i agree. Graphics are better but not a big jump indeed. People counting poligons will notice but as you might have noticed devs like to use the word subtle detail now. They know that its not a generational jump for the untrained eye is my guess.
