Geoff's best Sony moments video really gets me hyped, especially when he talks about inspiration and all the cg demos. This is gonna be sooo good on the 20th. CANTWAIT.GIF

Hoping its Just Cause 3.

I mean Avalanche is right there in NYC. They don't even have to fly in! Would also probably be the godliest of games to show some hardware sizzle with.

You know what would be awesome? Something similar to Rollcage.

That would be a showcase title. A lot of different effects, and other possibilities present themselves.

It'd certainly be a pleasant surprise. But I don't want to get my expectation too high, so i'll just expect them to show enough to get people hyped until E3. They don't necessarily have to go all out like they did with the Vita to do that.

My hype level is reaching unhealthy levels now with all the games people are speculating are going to be shown.

I really hope Sony is going to go balls to wall to show the industry that the king has returned and is taking no prisoners.

Or he's just doing it so that people won't bother him about it during interviews after the PS Meeting.

Still seems too early, especially since there was a report earlier this week that JC3 is due in 2015. They'll probably focus on the Mad Max game.

Is it possible that FF14 -- > PS4 instead of PS3? Or both? Or would that be too much work. Would really love a console version with high specs like the rumoured ps4.

Not this year, no. Yoshida said they'd look at next gen in the future, but currently will focus on the high install base console, the PS3.

Exactly. Gametrailers latest PS4 video states that it is now obvious, that development of FF Versus XIII, has shifted to next gen. I don't think it's obvious at all. Possible - sure. However, far more likely that the game will finally ship next year on PS3, where the install base is.

They promised to release the PS3 version back in 2009 and will stick to that promise. For a MMO install base is everything.

Devs don't want their game reveals spoiled, especially if they're getting to be the first ones to show off next gen games running on new consoles. It's a red carpet treatment that few games and teams will ever have the opportunity for. Hardware info gets leaked because it's just general info and a lot more people are privy to it so it's harder to track the source of the leak.

Sometimes I get confused because we don't do DST over here so I'm not sure if 6PM EST is the same here or 7PM

Edit: nvm, it seems it's at 7pm.

After watching gametrailers 20 games, I am surprizes SSM 2nd team that has been working on a new IP also was not mention at all.

it seem for a last year or two Sony work with many 2nd party studios, while building up 1st party big studios that actually have couple of teams to set up ps4 launch. akes a lot of sense now..
MM, SDM GG, ND, SSM ,sucker punch all have either 2nd team working on unknown new IP or been straight quiet for couple of years.

I think same can also be said about MS. both must want non WIiU situation of no software.

this is going to be amazing year for all the gaming.

I think it's safe to assume that Geoff is showing this level of excitement because he knows the next PlayStation is about to be announced. If there was any doubt at all, I can't imagine GT putting this much marketing power behind their coverage of the event.
