They decided when they started GT5 that they would future proof their cars at least. Probably now the difference between a 5 year dev cycle and a 3 year one.

That sort of timed saved is priceless.

Kaz was at this past E3, and that was just showing off some games.

This is a hardware launch, and a pretty big one at that.

Not saying that he will speak, but he'll def be in the audience.

GT6 is the killer-app for millions of people out there, and would be the perfect title to launch a new console with. However, I'm in the same boat as you - racing simulators are not my thing and a GT won't convince me to buy the system.

A new Jumping Flash! on the other hand...

I'm just hoping they have a great show overall. I have not bought any console day 1 but I am ready to do so with PS4 if it has a single good game at launch and some promise. I own all 5 Playstations and none of em has let me down. Not even the Vita that is in a very hard spot. So yeah I am ready for next gen PS4 day 1 if online play is still free.

They should have announced the meeting 5 hours before it started. At first I was expecting Sony/MS releasing the Kraken late March but then Sony surprises with an even in 3 weeks... and it feels like forever!

I dunno how to feel anymoar ;__;

I knew it. I've been saying march 2014 for some time, and there will be no Prologues this time. Anyone who followed GT5's development closely during those painful years knows why it took so long and that mistakes were corrected.

We suffered a bit this gen, but PS4 and GT6 shall be glorious.

Despite all the jokes abut them i just knew they would be super quiet hi time to have the game ready way before people think.


PS: this thread is pure gold. I wish i could make gifs and stuff.

Kaz was even at E3 last year in the front row audience. He will be at the event and most likely takes the stage. PS4 reveal event is the biggest event for the gaming section in a while, he comes from the PS section and has named gaming as one of the main focuses of Sony.

Oh he'll be there for sure. I just hope he will be on stage doing the reveal.

Guerilla, Polyphony, Sucker Punch, and Media Molecule have all apparently been working on new IPs. The only one of those devs not working on a new IP is Polyphony and they're working on GT6.

It's the most important product launch for the entire company. Kaz will be there holding up the ps4.
