Borderlands, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Infamous 2, Just Cause 2, LBP2, Double Dragon, Retro Grade, Machinarium all for free. Damn! Insane value. Will leave huge Infamous 2 download for later but shit's just crazy. This week Hell Yeah for free.

So all those games look like the US stuff except for MSA... are you in a different region than NA or did I somehow miss a good DL game?

There is so little talk about this game. What do people think? I played it recently for a while and I think it's fantastic. I don't think there's another racing game that has tracks like MSA. Even Split/Second doesn't come close.

There is so little talk about this game. WHat do people think? I played it recently for a while and I think it's fantastic. I don't think there's another racing game that has tracks like MSA. Even Split/Second doesn't come close.

I thought it was awful. The rubber-band AI is ridiculous to the point where I'm like 10th place for 80% of the race and suddenly am first or second when I cross the finish line. There's absolutely no tension or skill involved and you're just there to look at the spectacle; which made the tracks a total pain to navigate due to all the shit going on. That game was a huge step down for me after the great Pacific Rift.

I liked the game. Fun to drive and when things start collapsing it's amazing, buildings going down, great effects. I played until reaching the Veteran races which will take me more time since I'm a bad driver despite liking drving games. It's still on my HDD so I might finish since I'm not that far from it.

Not buying Bulletstorm paid off, then. 2 new free games for me this month

Not bad - Bulletstorm is fantastic, Resident Evil 5 is great for free (in co-op) - a shame I have them both on PC, but it's nice to have them on PS3 too for when Suz and I move out and the PS3 will be in the living room.

Looking forward to giving Hell Yeah a go.

Already finished RE5 Solo & Co-op so I'm not sure if I will get it again but at least Bulletstorm will be mine. Great for those who haven't played both.

It was the only game I played with Move from Start to Finish and I must say it's amazing. Really good. For reference I also tried Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 but RE5 was very good with the PS Move. The others not so much for me.

Ahh, bad update for me. Already have the DL version of RE5 Gold, Bulletstorm will be the heavily censored version in Germany and Hell Yeah seemed like a pretty bad game judging by the US demo.

But I guess overall it's a good update. I was not expecting RE5 at all (though in hindsight it seems like an obvious decision).

Because it's not launching yet. They'll announce what will be in it just before or as it launches. If you knew that X game was going to be free in a months time on PS Plus, it would eat into sales - the same reason they don't tell you what PS3 games are on Plus more than a week or two in advance.

It boggles my mind how hard a time they have to write up one blog post per week/month. I mean you could say that they go chasing information for a very long time, but even today it seems they know what the games are so all it takes is take 30 minutes to write 'hey guys, here's all your free games and a fancy graphic to accompany that'.

EDIT: I'm hoping for AC3 beta/AC revelation for free to hype shit up for AC3, seeing as Ubi loves Sony when it comes AC series and they are pretty big supporters of Plus

The PS Store team seem pretty small, so it'd make sense that they've been swamped with their normal workload plus Ross' for the past couple of weeks. It'd explain why they've made so many mistakes as well.

As for the update, just 3 games this month? The indie game of the month isn't a monthly thing or what? A bit lame. On the bright side, Hell Yeah looks awesome and I've been somewhat interested in checking out Bulletstorm, so that's pretty cool too.

Why would you buy Plus for Vita now when it starts next month? When the content comes you will know what it is. No sense in joining Plus before that.

What are you talking about? They've mentioned all the features it adds, they just haven't mentioned the game lineup and that's because it's still a freaking month away. They're still probably working out what the lineup will be at this point.

They're no longer available to anyone who didn't download them within the time period. If you did, then you can redownload them and play anytime you want as long as you're still a PS Plus subscriber or if you resubscribe.
