and hate it; sorry it's true I hate that damn game
but that would probably be a pretty big win for those who don't have it. It was well received and is pretty sizable content/value wise.

but i still hate it.

Same here. While I would ideally get a game that I have never played everytime, that's unrealistic. So I don't mind getting games I already own. I just sell my disc copy. I think i've already made over £100 selling the likes of Infamous 2, Deus Ex, Red Dead, Dead Space and the like

For shits and giggles I went ahead and tested this, and it DOES work for giant patches. So basically if you download a game off PSN but don't plan on playing it right away, just fire it up once enough to get to the update screen (if any) and then exit out to the xmb. PS+ will take over at 3 AM (or whatever you have it set to) and update the game as needed.

Correct. I did this for Payday: The Heist when I heard it had a multi-gig patch. Fired it up, quit almost immediately, and the next morning my PS3 told me it had patched it all up for me.
 
Got the trophy for level 51 in Borderlands gonna beat all the DLC now and go for level 61 trophy. I am halfway in BL2 on 360, but want to finish all DLC in Borderlands first. Some of the gold/orange weapons are so cool.

It works exaclty like that but only for the last 10-20 games played. So it wont do it for games not played in a long time.

I really loved the beautiful Machinarium game, loved to play it together with the kids. Loved the puzzles and the atmosphere.

I would be most grateful if anyone could tip me about some similar puzzle games. If they can be found on PSN it would be great, but if they are on disc for PC or PS3 that works as well.

Botanicula is by the same developer and it's lovely. It's on PC.

Samorost 1 & 2 on PC is by the same developer.
 
Saw Ryan from Giant Bomb say that Frobisher Says is free for Plus on Vita right now? When did that happen? I thought Plus on Vita didn't happen until November?

i am pretty sure frobisher says is a free game in general, as for when that happened if it's the game I am thinking of it's when it launched like 2 weeks ago.

Is this a puzzle game? I need to spend like $5 or more on something in the next day or two to get my $20 back... not sure what to pick up.

Machinarium is a point and click puzzle game. Rather fun - i'd definitely recommend it if you're interested.

If I already have plus will those IGN trial codes not work? I applied some but my subscription dates haven't changed
 
Came LTTP here, but if anyone has an extra EU 1-month code they would be willing to PM me that'd be great!

I've been contemplating signing up for PS+ with my EU account because they've been having great stuff on there, and would like to test out the process first as I actually live in the US.

That's a bit of a shit update, especially A4O, could have given out any other rather Ratchet game, really or even J&D would be awesome if they wanted to go with the platformers.

Then again we're already getting Crysis 2 so can't complain.

I wouldn't say it was excellent.

It was okay as a game. But as a Ratchet and Clank game, i think it was awful. None of what makes Ratchet and Clank games great - lack of exploration, the humour wasn't as good as previous entries, the platforming wasn't that great. It really lacked from a Ratchet and Clank game point of view.

But sure, as a game it was okay. It worked, the co-op worked well, and there were no massive bugs or glaring issues with it as a game.
