This happened to me with limbo as well.
I removed it from my basket and downloaded the othe stuff first. Then I added limbo to basket on its own and it was free.
Guys, help me with something. I have an account with PS+ that I use on my PS3 and that my cousin uses on his PS3. We have downloaded all the PS+ games available in US right now. If I go to SEN website and log in with the account, choose to deactivate my PS3, will another person be able to download the games that we both downloaded?
Explaining better, we shared the account and split the value. Then I bought a Vita and signed Plus with my main account. Now I don't need the account that I have with my cousin anymore, so I want to know if someone else could use it somehow. =)

I think you only have 2 options:
(a) deactivate your own PS3, using your own PS3
(b) deactivate both PS3s together, on the website
If you do (b), your cousin can simply re-activate his console...
Ok, then if I deactivate my PS3 using the console itself another person will be able to download the content, even 2 PS3 already downloaded it before?
Once you deactivate your console the games will stop working on your console and a new PS3 can activate it and download those games.

NA gets a blog post every Monday detailing the content that will be added the next day during the store update.
Europe gets a blog post at the start of the month detailing which games will be added throughout the month and on which day they will be added.
Sale stuff is usually on a week by week basis.

Since being a plus member with the 3 month/10 euro deal, my harddisk ran out of space. I've got Crysis 2, Batman Arkham city, All 4 One, Bulletstorm and Vanquish (which i can't download because no space left).
The 3 month sub convinced me to get a year subscription when my sub runs out. Seems like a very good deal to me. I don't know if the quality of the free games is always as high as now but it feels like i already made a good deal with these games regardless of what's coming in the future.

Any Gaffers know why when I try to download PSN+ games on my PS3 I get told there isn't enough space on the system? When I have 22gb free and the game is only 14gb?
I think this issue was mentioned earlier. Basically you'll need 28GB free due to the way the file is downloaded. First it needs 14GB for the download and another 14GB to install it.

I'd say the HDD question and also the answer to the better way to redownload stuff you've already "purchased" i.e. from transaction management. The other way has lead to people, myself included, being confused as to why stuff like Wipeout HD which we got from the PSN hack, couldn't install.

The store doesn't let you download it unless you have the full download+install space. You probably downloaded something smaller afterwards that occupied the space.

You'd think with how long stuff takes to install on PS3 there'd at least be some compression in place for faster downloads.

Regarding getting around the free 3 months PS+ asscreed codes without a US cc.
Can i buy a year's sub from amazon digital, and then stack it with the trial codes for a total 15 months? Amazon digital allows non US issued cc to work.
However will US PSN still require inputting a US cc even with the subscription codes already received from Amazon?

The codes bought from Amazon won't need a credit card, but even after using them, you will need a credit card to redeem de free trial codes. And yes, they stack.

So I just started Infamous 2 after downloading it when it was on PS+ and just before I stopped playing this morning it told me that the trial was due to expire. Now I think I need to hit triangle on the XMB to unlock the trial right? I really hope that I didn't screw up when I "bought" this, because if I did fuck knows how many other games I may have only downloaded the trial for. :'(

Assuming it's not a slim, save yourself the headache and just by a slim.
If it's not a slim and it's not under warranty, he can call Sony's service center and they'll replace the broken fat PS3 with a slim for $100 I believe.

Probably refurbished junk and just a hassle. There should def be some holiday sale bundles incoming. If they give him a brand new slim though, that sounds like a good deal.
Yeah, it's a launch EU 60GB. Will be a shame to lose the extra USB ports and BC but I didn't use the BC anymore anyway. It's £110 to replace it with a 160gb slim. I'm assuming this is my best option rather than trying to get it repaired somewhere.

Or they should install it as you download it so you don't need 2x the storage space. I believe the 360 does it this way (install as you download), as does iOS/android.

Whatever we get, I hope it's anything but Big Sky Infinity. I'm so sick of the "colorful twin-stick shooter with electronic soundtrack" genre.
What's bizarre, is that I noticed this today in my purchase history on the SEN store:
The Vita doesn't require the extra space either, so I'm sure they'll not make the mistake a second time around. Probably not a trivial fix for the PS3 though.
At this point I wouldn't bother repairing a fat PS3. I had mine replaced by Sony three times, and when that fourth unit gave out I just went ahead and had them give me the slim.
It's refurbished for sure, but certainly cheaper than what he'd get trading in his broken PS3. I wouldn't worry too much about the fact that its a refurb. Sony still gives a 90 day warranty on the unit, and it should perform like a new unit nonetheless.
MK would be okay, but I already own the PS3 version. I know people would be upset if it happened, but I'd actually welcome a great PSP game given that I've yet to complete any of the first release Vita games.
