Looks like RCR is our free Vita game for this week. Meh...didn't really care for the demo and didn't understand the hype but its not bad, they could have done much, much worse (still waiting for the Little Deviants shoe to drop).

MGS HD Collection Vita for $17 huh. I might have just found what to drop my PSN card xmas gift from my friend on.
 
Here we go again! Game isn't one I like therefore PS+ sucks!

I love this cycle. ;)

As usual RCR isn't anything I spent money on so I'm ready to try my FREE GAME. :D

Edit: I just realized the PS+ thread reminds me of the old joke ... "the food's not very good and the portions are too small".
 
Will def buy Journey for $7, and give RCR a try even tho the Vita demo left me cold.

Still hoping for a good free PS+ game to be added for the holiday, but I'm in NA so I won't hold my breath.
 
I'm not really interested in RCR, but on the plus side it's a Vita and a PS3 game, so there's that :)

Interesting to see Journey on sale. Not sure if I'll bite on it. I love that I hear so much positivity about it, but I can't say I was really taken by Flower or Flow.

Find it hard to get excited about Hot Shots, given that I've seen it numerous times at retail for $10.
 
I didn't like the RCR demo either (despite being rather hyped for it), but it's still one of SCEA's better picks outside of their initial collections.

Unfortunately SCEA is still behind SCEE and the Playstation Store website does not support NA region yet. Your best bet is to have a friend buy it for you on their PS3 under you login info.
 
I mean it doesn't have to be a big retail game, maybe like a PS1 or PS2 Classic or something.

I know I'd be super giddy if I woke up tomorrow to a free copy of God Hand
 
Crap update is crap. Maybe next week SCEA. Then again, maybe not.

If you own a PS Plus freebie, Sony should gift people a voucher. Something along the lines of 50 percent off another purchase on the store. Don't train people to not buy games on PSN.

Well then. This'll make four straight weeks where I haven't downloaded anything from PS+. Here's, once again, hoping for next week (if we get anything at all, since next week is still December).
 
Ugh. Maybe this will sound whiny and ungrateful to some of you, but this update is a big disappointment to me.

RCR is the free game for Christmas? The biggest gift giving holiday in NA... Seriously SCEA? RCR?!

Lost opportunity to promote PS+ IMO. One really nice game for Xmas would've gone a long way toward bringing in more PS+ users.

Should have done big games like black ops 2 and declassified. That would have really gotten the word out for ps plus.

You do realize that Sony doesn't have 100% control over what goes up on PS+, right? If they wanted BLOPS2 as a PS+ freebie, they'd have to work something out with Activision. And I can guarantee that Activision isn't exactly itching to give away their most profitable game for free.
 
Under the PS+ area on the Vita store, Mortal Kombat is listed. No discount, $29. Maybe it will be free soon?

Probably not, but I'm crossing my fingers.

Europe seems to get pretty bad ass PS+ updates. While in the US we are getting scraps IMO. RCR is about what I expected nothing worth while again. I just hope we get some good discounts on games this week. PS+ outside the orginal Vita update has been a complete disaster in the US since right after E3. Lots of us are basically paying for cloud storage.

The PS3 version is on discount.

Some people are saying the Vita version is showing up in the Vita instant game collection section at full price, maybe it'll be the free game next week : /

And yeah, the game is under PS+. I'm not sure why.
 
It kinda sucks that RCR is all we get. I had no interest in purchasing it but it did look kind of fun on the GB quick look. Could be worse I suppose.

On the flipside three games are expiring next week (Bloodrayne, Bioshock 2, & JSR Vita), so we should get three games next week.
 
Jetpack Joyride is free next week for PS3 and Vita. Pretty sure that's all we'll get.

Edit: Just saw 3 games were ending. Guess we'll get a few more. Nice.
 
Yeah, I'm not liking this week's update either.
But 3 games are expiring next week (2 PS3 games and a Vita game), so we can expect at least a PS3 and a Vita game next week.
 
RCR as the free vita game?

I played 20 min and regretted buying it/spending that time.

Definitely a case of "oh jeeze listened to gaf hype = instant waste of money/time".

The game might as well just be a flashing gif of HAY REMEMBER 80s-90s GEEK HUMOR GUYZZ?!?!?!!
 
The sales are nice but SCEA just can't seem to escape joke status as far as PS+ goes. I had a feeling they'd copy themselves with Vita's +. The first month of this new system (back at E3) was awesome and then we got shit for like the next 3 months. First month of Vita+ was awesome and now we get 1 tiny arcade game that also disappointed most people.

No lol, it's a free 2 play game with microtransactions. They wont count it as a plus title. We'll probably get the January PS3 game of the month, a Vita game, and maybe a PSN game to replace Bloodrayne next week.

There's 2 versions, the $1.99 minis title (PSP, PS3, and Vita; no trophies & no microtransactions) that was released earlier this month and the free native PS3/Vita version with trophies and microtransactions that is releasing next week in NA.
 
How big of a download is Hot Shots? I'd consider rebuying just to have it always on the system. Most perfect game ever created. Sorry, Tetris.
