I had this issue when Trine 2 was offered for free. I wish Sony would offer all the territories an option to buy even if your a subscriber.
3 games is my understanding. 1 game will only be available for one month (VF5 this month), 3 will be available for one full year (i2, lbp2, r&c:a4o), and the rest will be rotated in pairs every ~16 weeks in NA/~12 in EU. I think this initial batch of games is gonna have a shortened rotation schedule so that they can add 3 new games in mid July.

That's huge for me, thanks. They really made it sound like we'd only get new stuff every 16 weeks.

You can still play everything as long as you are a PS+ sub.

and with all the other free stuff I have to download 37gb worth of games
on a 170kb per second download speed
Infamous 2 for me as well and I hated the first one. I might as well give it a shot since its "free".
Infamous has grow on you to be honest and for some odd reason the game gets 20% better when you gain gliding ability....

Been downloading inFamous 2 all day. It's about 90% of the way through. I can't wait to see how long it takes to install. I'm very excited to play it though.

Tell me how it is (either in this thread or by PM), I was incredibly disappointed by Infamous and I'm interested in downloading Infamous 2 but it'll take forever and I'd prefer to hear the opinion of someone else who hated the first game.

I for the most part significantly disliked inFamous 1 and really enjoyed the 2nd. The new enviornment feels much more unique, the characters more interesting, and the gameplay generally flows much better. Much fewer framerate drops when you turn corners on streets and in general. I'd give the first one a 6.5ish and Infamous 2 near a 9.

I spent a whole day downloading infamous 2 and went to install it today and I burps 10 minutes into the install and says the data is corrupted. So now I have deleted it and started over.

ugh, if you think that's bad then I have it much worse
I just finished downloading all the free games only for my PS3 to freeze, ends up the file system has been corrupted and now I have to reformat my hard drive and lose EVERYTHING
except my save games thankfully due to cloud storage (most of them, I hope...)
edit: beginning to have a bad feeling the hard drive might be failing, first thing in my download history I go to redownload and select download in the background and it's now been preparing for almost 5 minutes

Jesus, it took nine hours. Nine to download JC2. Crazy. 
For reference, I was able to download both Reach and Crysis on 360 in 3 hours just last month.

I'm not enjoying the sequel either (put about 1-2 hours or so into it). Its more of the same of the first one. I may give it another go over the weekend when I have more time, but I'm just not feeling this series. There are so many other games I have to try with the current PSN plus promo.

Festival of Blood is by far the best entry in the Infamous series. Highly recommend you play it at some point, I'm sure it will be free one day.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a great game. I remember being interested when it was announced, but for whatever reason I skipped it when it was released. Hopefully Crystal Dynamics gets a sequel going after Tomb Raider.

It's the only game that I've played so far out of the ones that I downloaded, and I agree: it is a very good game. I love how they were able to retain all of the hallmarks of the franchise but at the same time make it feel so different with co-op and the top down perspective.

Jesus. This month will be insane for my ISP. I had to clear so much stuff to make room for the + stuff. Things I didn't think I would like games I actually bought but platinumed already and I own a 160BG. Of course I lose 10GB cause of that dam partition.
