I've had the same problem with Darksiders a few posts up. Just start up the game, let the trial expire and it will fix itself after that.

I added LBP2, Darksiders, Infamous 2, Strangers Wrath, VF5, Motorstorm Apocalypse, and Warhammer 40,000 to my account today. Have only played LBP2 out of all of them (own the disk)
Also bought the Harley Quinn DLC for Batman: AC and Mutant Blobs for the Vita.
Honestly, anyone with a tight budget can get a whole lot of gaming done with this PS+ deal for very little. The rest of us will just build an ever larger backlog

Just complete the checkout process and they're on your download list for as long as you are a subscriber
Unless you have totally different information then ALL these games are free for the entire duration of your PS+ subscription however many years that is. Including any lapses/restarts of the subscription etc.
What is time related is the INITIAL download (or partial download) of the games as they will be rotated out in favor of new games. If you began a download of a game but never completed the download for example that game IS available all the time whether in the currently available selection or not.
He is talking about the rotation. If you live in Europe, it is specified on the blog; for the US it is unknown I believe.

Just beautiful... my PS3 might be messed up now because the downloads frozen during the day and the whole system hard freezed after I tried to turn it off. It did the whole recovery process after I turned it back on but after I chose the login profile nothing happens... the wait icon is just spinning in the upper corner. Fuck fuck fuuuck. This was already the third time my freebie downloads had frozen but the recovery process worked the previous times.
Yeah hit download and then instead of hitting send to background or whatever just cancel out and it will cancel the download but register it to your account. You'll see that red marker next to the game to let you know it's yours.
No, you don't even need to do that. Just complete the checkout process.
This is what I did today. Every one showed up in my downloads list even though I only downloaded the Batman DLC.

Same here. I always complete the checkout process on the free games in case I want to go back and play those games in the future. As long as you check the story once a week, you can get a pretty good supply of free games.
Yep, me too. Rarely download everything but i always "buy" it all.

So, I've been getting download speeds of literally 1 megabyte every 10-15 seconds. This is despite me getting downloads of 1.8 megabytes per second on my Xbox 360 and PC.

Now I'm getting 1.8 MB per second on my PS3 too! Woohoo! Why I had to go through all this to get an acceptable download speed out of my PS3 I really don't know - and looking at the Internet it seems like I'm far from the only one with the problem. Anyway, the workaround works perfectly, so happy days! Now to download all the freebies

This requires the PC to be on non stop right? I guess I can try this when downloading large files, then go back to no proxy on the PS3 for day to day PSN gaming. I am getting good speeds now though, 1-2MB per second, so I wonder if this can push it even higher.

For those with slow internet speeds or limited hard drive space, here are a couple quick reviews:
Just Cause 2: A game I always wanted to play, so I downloaded it first. It is pretty bad. The voice acting is laughably bad, and the game just feels aimless. Graphically, it hasn't aged well. Controls are frustrating. I know the game gets love around here but I quit after an hour. Doubt I'll go back to it.
Infamous 2: I played the first Infamous for about 3 hours and just couldn't get into it. Infamous 2 feels and looks way better. I should have started with this game in the first place. It looks way better than the first one, the voice acting seems top notch, and the characters are sort of realistic.
Point is, if you were turned off by the first Infamous, give the second one a chance. It seems way better.

Is mad riders free for psn plus. Comes up as free on the ads in PSN store, but when you click through it says $15.95 (aus). Any thoughts?

there was an issue? I booted the digital version and it pulled up my save no problemo.
That's only because the PS3 version isn't the right version of the game.
And neither is the 360 version.

When I booted it up it made me play the intro stuff and I have a save where I've completed the game.

Wow, these free games aren't worth my time. Spend hours downloading game, spend another 30 minutes installing it, download is corrupt, rinse, repeat...

Will do, hopefully there won't be lots of platforming, which involves starting again from the beginning if you miss a jump, or fail to change dark/light correctly.
The choices are truly great, especially as I didn't have any of them previously. I recommend to try MotorStrom if you're a fan of arcade racing like I am. The beginner tracks were good fun, but the first track after that, which was located on the rooftops, proved out to be somewhat a challenge. Hopefully the rest of them don't have as narrow paths, and hard to see corners.
The only games I skipped were Stranger's Wrath and Chime. Are they worth a download?
It blows my mind that you guys ponder about free stuff. Just freaking download it all!

Just got PS+ back after not having had it for a while, started playing Tomb Raider Underworld which I got free ages ago but couldn't play it after my PS+ ran out, ended up switching it off after 5 minutes lol
Going from a game like Uncharted 2 and 3 which are both very polished games makes any game of a similar genre look and play like shit.

You need double the hard drive space for it to download and install dont you? I had some serious trouble with infamous last night after I already deleted a ton of stuff to get all the games on my downloading list. Then I had to delete even more to get it to install. Lesseoned learned. Then again, I cant imagine getting another wave of games like this anytime soon again.
This is a lot of platforming, but nothing that sets you back much if you miss or die (shit gets crazy)

Yeah, I'm having the same issue having just invested in PS+, and I'm not really thrilled at the thought of investing in a hard drive for my 4 year old fat PS3. If there's a price drop this summer I'm picking up a slim 320gb.
I really wish we could sort that damned list. It's easier for me to find something from that list by just finding the item in the store later. Especially when they re-organized my first PS+ content to the date when my second 15 months started instead of June 29th 2011 like it was originally.
320GB? Fuck, I'm down to 200GB free on my 500GB HDD.
Stranger's Wrath is fantastic. Well worth the download, a full play through, and even a purchase.
Is that all games, game data and saves? I don't see the need to keep anything else on the machine. Streaming works just fine.
