I got suckered into buying a 3 month pass before E3 thanks to all the GAF hype. I never use my PS3 really but I did enjoy Infamous so I figured what the heck, I'll snag it and LBP2. Holy fuck the download speeds still SUCK on PSN.. after over an hour I was at like 2.5 GB of 4.7 for LBP2.

Infamous is 14 gigs? So it'll take me a day or so to download it? What a terrible service.. I honestly feel really bad for people who only use a PS3.

i just queue everything up before i go to bed and let it download over night. Then set it to turn off after downloads. Luckily the ps3 is quiet enough but yeah the speeds do suck on my ps3 as well. My 360 speeds are fast but that isnt using my wifi. The vita is even worse than the ps3
 
Im also a PS Plusser since last month, I couldnt hold back anymore after they offered Darksiders, Chime, Oddworld and VF5: FS. Tho I wish I never downloaded that Wakeboard game, hellish trophies, it will sit at 0% forever.

btw, I see more and more friends with the + icon on the XMB, of my 90 friends 11 have Plus. Not bad, but Sony should advertise it more. Give us the option to pay with Paypal, go even further and use Moneybookers too.
 
What games are available this month?I have a PSN points card and i wanna use it. If i download this months PSN+ games and then get PSN+ next month will i be able to use this months PSN+ games. Also what games are available this month?

unless you are sub, you wont be able to play those games, obviously.

You can only download ps+ games if you are subscribed.

nice... I was considering buying Gotham City Impostors but wasn't sure if it was gonna be worth it

free makes the decision to download it much easier :p

edit: looks like the Rayman Origins mess has made it so we don't even get the full month's preview now only the next two weeks with another blog post update coming after with the rest of the month in it...

I wish they would just tell us the full month, would be rather annoyed if I bought something this week only for it to get a discount in 2 weeks
 
Really weak month honestly. This is worse than most of the recents months before the "new" PS+ model. And the Vita of course still doesn't exist, I wonder if PS+ will ever get tied in.

Wonder what beta they are talking about at the end though? Dust 514?

there will be 5 store updates this month and we only know what PS+ will have for the first 2

I wouldn't be so quick to write this month off as weak yet
 
Nice, Gotham City Imposters is pretty fun. Only played the demo on 360 but had a good time with it. Renegade Ops and Pacman are both great also.

This update is only for the PSN side of PS+ isn't it? I think another full retail game gets announced in 2 weeks.
 
Glad I held off on buying Pac-Man CE all these years :lol

Imposters isn't my kind of game. MP-only, right? :/

Already have Renegade Ops and it's excellent.
 
The EU game is almost certain to be Transformers related, given the teasers they've put out on Twitter.

Pacman, I held off for this exact reason.

Also, RAINBOW MOON (Finally, but at least a 20% discount!!).

Not sure about Gotham City Imposters, I know nothing about it.
 
I hope Gotham City Impostors and Pac-Man Championship Edition DX get released in Europe. Wouldn't mind those two.
 
OOO pacman ce:dx and gotham city imposters? two games i probably would have never laid the money down for, but was immensely interested in playing.

i already own and played the shit out of renegade ops, but i'm happy with this rotation.

Get Pac-man CE DX if you haven't already. It single-handedly restored my faith in the game industry to produce brilliant games that keep me coming back over and over again.

Played it obsessively for months.

This very point is addressed by mochuuu in a comment on the blog.
from here on, you can count on any games being offered on sale as part of a special Store promo will not be offered in the IGC soon after. See a deal with Plus? snag it as it might be a while before it may go into IGC. But in regards to other games that aren’t on sale, well ya just will never know when it may, or may not, go into the IGC besides watching these updates. So it’s something you’ll have to decide for yourself whether you want to take the plunge on the purchase I’m afraid. Just like Netflix, I could either pay to rent a movie digitally, or wait and hope that maybe it might show up on Netflix later.

The free month of ps+ I had convinced me the service is worth it...though I got my subscription for 35$ off ebay. Digging these free games.

Fart. I just bought Gotham City Imposters on XBLA the other night. Already own Renegade Ops on XBLA too.

I thought Gotham City Imposters was part of the summer sale? How do you buy it at the PSN+ discount when they are giving it to you for free? I couldn't find a way to purchase VF5 last month even if I wanted to.

Correct, you need to add it to cart and check it out than it will be in your download list.

You do not need to download it.
