it would be nuts to not work - what if you have a fault or something? It probably just requires 'frequent enough' connections to know you're not 'cheating'
 
Really? Ok thanks will have a look later - thought it might be but when I set the wheels in motion this morning but it seemed to have been replaced by Dead Space 2 (which I hadn't got round to picking up so no complaints here).

heads up for german gaffers:

the Dead Space 2-DLC IS indeed compatible with the version you got for free on Plus.
i bought a discounted pack and it flawlessly worked.

It's the same in the german store. Pics not loading everywhere. It's superannoying. Sometime they get visible when you scroll further down and vanish again when you scroll up.
fix that, please!
 
Holy shit! Just finished episode 2 of TWD. I really like the statistic of what other players choose for their choices. Can't wait for episode 3.

Walking Dead is so fucking good. Seriously my EU brothers, buy this shit. It's worth at least 5 bones for sure. Either way, I'm probably going to re-buy Episode 1 so that I don't have to keep renewing PS + just to play future episodes.

I bought the first episode a while back, but haven't completed it yet. I'll have to give it another shot.
 
Damn, the first + game I actually own before it was free. Well, there goes August for me, gonna hope next month is dead space, shame I don't like the walking dead.
 
Yeah, bought Outland at launch :/

Would be very cool if we got Dead Space 2 with it, but I doubt it. Probably just a PSN-only game that Europe got in June, like Stranger's Wrath HD or Chime Super Deluxe.
 
So Outland is it for August with no retail titles for the US? We haven't gotten a retail title since E3. I'm almost up on my 3 months. Guess I'll let it expire until later in the year when more games are announced for the service.

What how is that fair? They are taking down a PS3 game in the next update (someone look up the name for me, it escapes my mind right now) they should replace it with a PS3 game. What gives? It's not like they don't get enough money off this service as well as have reserves on PS3 games they can upload and give away for free. I don't know, something about that doesn't seem right to me.
 
Never bothered with walking dead, but I played it and damn I actually really liked it. Sat down and beat both episodes in one sitting. Now I have to buy the later episodes, but I have a feeling they'll go to plus for free later on too. DAMN YOU PLUS! I can't even buy games without thinking "they'll be on plus for free anyways"
 
Seriously, WD is excellent. One of the best freebies on PS Plus so far. I'll be buying the next 3 episodes day 1. Bravo Telltale.
 
Seriously I'm very disappointed. I've been a Plus sub since nearly day 1. I expect a little more SCEA. Deus Ex, Darksiders, and MS Apocalypse please within the next couple of months.

Indie publisher Ripstone has announced a trio of releases for Sony's PlayStation Plus Presents label: retro platformer Knytt Underground, hypnotic 'shmup Big Sky Infinity and a third, as-yet-unannounced game.

Both Knytt Underground and Big Sky Infinity will be playable on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

What is actaully going on NA-side? Seems like someone's not doing their job in terms of offering incentives to third parties in exchange for giving their games away

I agree, they need to try harder or they are going to lose subscribers.

Just started Walking Dead last night and was taken back by how much I enjoyed it.


Outland was on my list of "things to buy," so needless to say I'm excited to be getting it for free* this month. Plus strikes again.
 
There's a guy who posts here who even works on the very own US PSN store. Shouldn't someone PM him a link to this thread and get him in here to answer some questions or at least get some very helpful community feedback he may be able to rely to the right people. It could be mutually beneficial for both sides.

No, the blog said two games would be announced on Monday and then go up the next day with the store update. It looks like they accidentally announced Outland already so we're waiting to find out the second game.
 
That would be nice actually.

As for WD; I just finished Episode 1, and holy shit is it amazing. Honestly, I can say with out any feeling of hyperbole that it's already lined up for GoTY pick for me. I just love all the characters (especially Lee and Clementine) and I really like the adventure game aspect of it.

Just so damn good. Pumped for Outland as well. Have heard many good things.

Then the next game SHOULD be a PS3 game as they are taking one down. Cross your fingers guys.

Hell, if they just give me one PS3 game and Playstation Battle Beta access this whole month would be redeemed in my eyes.

Taken from CAG, those are the games that expire on the 14th. I assume Outland will replace Lara Croft, and then we'll get 1 more retail game to replace JC2. Probably Darksiders or something like that?

From a response to the comments in the blog it's best not to hold your breath.

EU and NA are following a bit of a different strategy to see which games make the biggest impact in Plus. There are several factors to consider, however, please note that a certain number of PS3 Full Games free in Plus was never promised; they just comprised the majority of the free game collection in Plus when we kicked off the Instant Game Collection. But we have our ears to the ground for what folks are looking for in Plus , so by all means keep the feedback coming! It takes time to absorb, but it counts.

Basically, just because there were a certain number of PS3 games in the IGC at launch doesn't mean there will always be that many PS3 games in the IGC.
 
Just askin. How many people sell their retail copies of games gotten via PS+? Because in the last few months, I've gotten nearly £100's from selling my old games.
 
I may be in the minority but I'd much rather have them return to the free PS1 games if they're going to hold back on the PS3 games.
