uh, does anyone know if the 3 months bonus still available?

I saw that today was the last day, so I was wondering whether it was still available or not. Went to the PSN Store and saw the banner still advertising the 3 extra months, yet when I purchased it, the 3 extra months were not added to my service list. :C

The store is being updated right now, so it's possible you were a few minutes too late. The offer is being taken down with today's update.

You should definitely contact Sony and explain the situation though, you're owed 3 months as far as I'm concerned.

Huh, I called twice and I was told the same thing twice, according to them the 3 extra months is only available for the first year. Even when I asked to talk to the supervisor I was told that this was indeed true, and whenever I told them that it was advertised by them... he just said that he had no idea as to how that happened, but that the official word is that the deal is only an first time offer

I ll contact them by email to find out what is going on

i can confirm since i accidentally bought 2 more year subscriptions this morning, that it added 15 months with each one.

Huh, I got a second 3 months win I re-up'ed yesterday morning.

^That's badass. Hope we get a Genesis one here.

Grabbed the free fish tank dynamic theme last night. Looks fucking awesome, especially in 1080p.

dammit. yakuza 4 theme, mebbe another excuse to replay sonic 1 & 2 (trophies?), few nice things there...so how does this work? you have to buy in 3 month blocks, and lose everything when it runs out? if that theme's nice and i dont have an option to buy it, i'm gonna be salty.

You get to keep themes and stuff like that even if your sub runs out. You also keep games bought at a discount.

1) You can buy in 3 months blocks, but it's more efficient money-wise to buy in 12 months blocks. They had a deal running where you buy your first 12 months and get an additional 3 months free, although I'm not sure if that's still going on.

2) Any games you get for free you lose after your subscription lapses. You do not lose free themes. For those games that you lost due to a lapsed subscription, you get them back along with all your save data etc once you re-activate your membership. I do not know if you can cancel your membership, buy a game that you had gotten free, and then have your old saves from the free version work on the paid version.

ah, thanks for your answers, guys. i think i'm gonna jump on to further support Yakuza 4 stuff, maybe play some Sonic/Mega Man along the way as well. again though, do those titles bring trophies? i know it sounds silly, but i dig the replay value they can add to old-school games.

Sonic 2 definitely does, because it specifically mentions it in the article which I cut/pasted the schedule from. In general, most PSOne classics do not, although i'm not sure about Mega Man 3 or Sonic 1.

ah, cool - buddy says yes to sonic 1 trophies. how do the import titles work? seeing as how i gotta log into another account to access UK/japanese PSN, im guessing we're locked out?

yea, afaik unless you can only access the store for a certain country if you have an account for that country.

This may have been asked a million times already, but with the Playstation site being down I'm having a hard time finding the answer. Is there a quick and easy way to find out when your service is set to renew?

You can check under Acct Management I think.

Also, you could check the e-mail from you signed up to Plus. Or the expiration date on a game you downloaded.

Triangle on a game you got for free and it should say "Expires end: "

Regular Sonic does too. There's a set of SEGA "vintage" games like Sonic 1/2 which add trophy support. I think there's a few more from the Genesis collection that will have trophies, such as Comix Zone.

Thanks. That didn't even enter my mind.

I'm very tempted to get another 15 month sub now stacking is allowed. Plus has turned into a great service, with some good games and decent offers.

Nice, will probably stack myself 15 months more. This month seems to be a great month to be a plus member and 20% off BG&E next month is a good deal.

It looks like the Sega Genesis collection is actually going to be spread out to be the free PSN game for 6 months in the US. Can't say I'm impressed.

so weak. i got the sega genesis collection when it came out so these are pointless.

They do have different trophies, but yeah, you have a point. I have a feeling we will be getting some other games interspersed with the Genesis Collection, so don't fret just yet.

I'm whining here because no-one awnsered my post in the KZ3 thread:

Euro PS+ user here, just downloaded the new KZ3 map pack. Boot the game. Can't find the second map in the selection menu. It's simply not here...

Bug ? Halp ?

Only Stahl Arms shows up for me, I only checked in Botzone though.
