What is this list for?


I've currently got the free month of PS+. I'm curious how some of this works.

What are the rules regarding which games you get forever, and which ones are only accessible while you're a paying subscriber?

Not sure why this is not common knowledge on what you keep and what you don't. Not hard to imagine that everything during your membership that is free to dl will expire if you let it run out. $50 a year is not gonna get you $200 worth of content to keep forever. Doesn't make sense.

I'll try to play dumb for the Target deal to extend my PS+ which has been for me, worth the money.

Best feature is the auto-download of firmware and software updates, though I'll admit that I'm a bit lazy at changing the time it does this. Waking up at like 5am on a random morning due to my PS3 turning itself on to update and then shutting off is both awesome and strange.

Still, I wish it would just auto-update/patch without booting the game, but maybe someday it'll happen (probably not).

The updates for PS+ have been on a regular schedule on the blog. I'm assuming that Thanksgiving threw it out of whack since it was supposed to be posted last week Thursday.

Got PS+ for $25 yesterday. Found out it allows background download of patches if you set the auto update in the same time zone it currently is and back out of the screen after a few seconds.

Completely worth it just for that.

Yeah I've mentioned that a few times. It just turns the updates into download bubbles in the download list. Makes me wonder why we can't just update all games that way.

Try the site. If you find it in your download list, click on it and it should give you more details about the service including the expiration date.

I already own the Trilogy version of TRU, and I don't care about Spyro (already got the 3rd game for free, but it hasn't aged well. Not going to bother playing it at this point).
Nothing for me in the discounts section either.
Marvel Pinball and 2 minis (already got Space Shooter before) ? I'll get that, and nothing more.
Gladly, most items I want will be available tomorrow. Because I'll lose internet access soon (moving away).

Some of those holiday discounts are weak though. 25 and 30 percent off? That's not even a true discount considering some of those products (like full games) are more expensive than what you can find at retail.

Kind of a meh update. I have Underworld sitting on my desktop and I haven't played much of it yet, but I guess I could always download it for the trophies. Spyro, ehhh...I didn't like it as much as Crash back in the day but free is free. I'd prefer to have a surprise in there 1 month like FF 9 but yeah, unrealistic

Question, if I buy with my credit card through the store, am I forced to store the CC info on PSN? I havent given PSN CC info since the hack, but since Amazon no longer sells PSN game vouchers or PSN credit codes, it's been rather annoying buying things.

No, you can delete your info whenever you want from the Account Management

Visit the PS Store. They classify the discount games into different discount percentage. They also have a Last Call category for games that will lose their discount status soon.

You can pay via PS prepaid card if you want.
