How long RDR is going to be available on the EU PS+ service? I ask because my old PS3 just died, and I'm going to get it fixed so I can transfer the ~200GBs of game files to the new slim, which is why I won't be downloading any larger files before that's done.

One month.

You don't need to download it, just add it to your download list.

It's going to be available for one month starting next week. So I'm guessing it'll be replaced during the first week of October.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just have to add it to the download list. Which reminds me, I was pleasantly surprised I could download Burnout Paradise after over a year, when I had downloaded it during the free PS+ month in June 2011, and removed it after the membership expired.

Double Dragon Neon coming to PSN in September, free for PS+ until January

All my old Plus PSone games are coming back to haunt me in the best way possible now thanks to the Vita's added emulator, not to mention that Square sale they had where FFVII, FFVIII, and FFIX were $4 each.

It is kinda interesting that they are pushing this side of online coop games in PS Plus.

Gonna download for sure.

I noticed that too with Borderlands & Outland. It's a smart business move to help spread people's interest thanks to friends, plus it makes it harder to not renew.

If they're gonna give us free PSN games, I rather have new titles. So this is good

Agreed. The only other time I recall this happening was with the Simpsons Arcade, which a lot of people felt had aged poorly, but I totally had a blast replaying. This double dragon remake at least appears to be worth a playthrough, so why not?!

Oh man that music in the Double Dragon clip, so amazing.

And Bro-Op! I have to think some Activision PR man is kicking himself for not coming up with that term before these guys did....

Yessir. It's why I joined Plus, when Stacking released for free last February.

Hydrophobia, Awesomenauts, and Rock of Ages were free day 1 as well.

Free ps+?

I paid nothing to get 10 months of PS+, so yeah.

Sony was at Fan Expo, giving out one month vouchers if you play PS All-Star Battle Royale. I came back every so often, racking up some codes. The friends I came with on one of the days either didn't have a PS3 or didn't care for PS+, so they gave me their codes.

So... it's been 4 days since my PSN+ subscription was supposed to end, yet I'm still rocking that + sign. What gives?

Not that I'm complaining

So I have 3 months of PS+. Do I get to keep Infamous 2 even though it may get taken down this month. I have so many games that I don't know if I can finish it before it's taken down. I already know I have to have Plus to play it, but I'm a bit confused on how long I can keep it once it's replaced with a new game.

When its taken down its simply no longer available for new PS+ members. Once you get something as a subscriber you keep it until you are no longer a subscriber. Regardless of its availability for others.

Your ongoing subscription allows you to accumulate a huge library over time, even though only a relatively few things are available at any given time. This is to encourage people to be subscribers for a long time, not just jump in late in the game.

Yeah, whatever game you download that was free from PS+ is yours to keep as long as you're a subscriber.

A lot of people get confused about this and it probably scares them away from signing up. Dumbass trolls calling it a "rental service" doesn't help things.

You'll keep it, just make sure it's in your download list before it's taken down.

Never heard of this new DD game until now. I'm definitely intrigued, and free new games are always welcomed by me. Helped me discover Awesomenauts, which was really fun and something I would have likely skipped.

Nice lol. :)

Anyways, DDNeon looks good.

Whats up with neon retro games lately being free on release? First Retro/grade and now this.

I'm buying a year once it's 25% off anyway

Sorry to jump in here and derail things a bit but I just got a PS3 for the first time this weekend, I was thinking of getting Plus but someone said there's going to be a pricedrop or something soon, is this what you're talking about? Is there some more details somewhere?

It is a promotion that was announced at Gamescom. So just wait until the September update next week.

I'm happy with Borderlands and Double Dragon. People were complaining about no retail releases last month and they come through with one this month and still complaints. I don't think Sony will ever be able to please everyone. A brand new PSN release and a full game like Borderlands is pretty awesome imo.

Borderlands would be awesome... if I didn't already own it on PC and the sequel wasn't coming out in less than 3 weeks. It's going to be the first PS+ game I completely pass on. On the other hand, DD Neon should be awesome and I'm looking forward to it. Just wish it was this Tuesday instead of 9/13.
