Man, that's kinda a shitty PS3 lineup. Does Japan even care about GoW? And some of that other stuff...the worst Fatal Fury, a LocoRoco game that's more of an interactive screensaver than anything else, Sonic 1 (while still great, it pales in comparison to later Sonic games)...really disappointing lineup.

PS+ in Japan has always been a joke. 98% of all the free games offered since the beginning have been bad PS1 games and all the trial games have been old PSN games. I wouldn't expect much from their IGC.

What the fuck at Payday. Downloaded and installed it earlier so I could play it tonight, go to start it and there's a 3 GB patch. And I know I can cancel it, but it seems like it's multiplayer focused, and I kind of wanted to try it at least. Can't even background download it.

on the plus side, it's the data associated with dlc put into everyones game, so even if you don't own the dlc you can join games and play the maps, just not make the match yourself on said dlc maps.

still yes, we went over how incredibly stupid the "not downloading the newest version of a game from psn because of re-cert reasons" is a thread recently.

I know JPSN works differently, but I think it's a preview of what we can expect for Vita PS+ next month. A full Vita game along with some full PSP games.

I hope the full Vita game is a lot better than that at least.

I just did (after translating stuff through google) and it came up with where my code should be but it is blank, and on the email it is also blank, as in "Here is your code: " but there is nothing there.

It wouldn't have worked anyway. Those codes only worked on accounts that aren't already PS+

My PS+ runs out in December too. Hoping i can renew it with birthday money

Last year around Xmas they did one on the PS Store. Maybe they will do again this year

Yeah i saw that advert too, in the UK it was advertising 1 Year PS+ for something like £17 they had it totally wrong, as when you went to the link it was £30 I had a lot of store credit at a HMV so picked up a card there at the same price as the digitial price.

I played Crysis 2 on PC and thought it was boring...the game has nothing going for it...idiotic story, dumbed down gameplay, annoying characters, bad level design, poor art etc

I liked the multiplayer though.

I hoped for NFS: HP for October. That ship has sailed. No way is it coming out anywhere near Most Wanted.

And I don't think any more Walking Dead episodes, as I think the whole point of the first two was to help promote the rest and get people to buy them.

Whatever SCEA comes up with, it better be big. They need some eye-catching titles for the holidays.

New PS+ stuff updates (if there are any) on Tuesdays with the normal store update.

They usually tell us what's coming that week on Monday

pS+ offers background game patching and installs yes? In theory couldn't you start the game the first time, click cancel when the prompt for 3gb update is given, and then go about your business with something else? Thereby allowing the service to patch the game at the scheduled time on it's own? I've gotten notifications of other games being updated/patched when I turn on the ps3 so I would think even the giant patches would work as long as you've started the game at least once.

Beats sitting around for an hour or 2 watching a bar fill up if it works.
