PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

I couldn't find any of the Plus stuff on the Vita store today. Is it just not updated, or do I need to access it via the PS3 store?

The fuck? I subbed for a year of plus and i can´t do cloud saving. I have 60 GB launch PS3. Could that be the reason? When i press triangle i only get information, no copy or delete. Or maybe cloud save is not up in Denmark yet. Either way, this shit sucks. Fix this shit Sony.

Except they are.

Yes - if you give them your credit card information. I have money on my SEN/PSN wallet and everytime I want to subscribe to Music Unlimited it asks for my credit card information. Tried it on the website, PS3 and PS Vita, doesn't work.

Edit: Oh wow, seems they added a one-year-access pass which I can buy with a prepaid card, nice! But it's still the same for the regular subscriptions. Maybe we Europeans will also get this $12 deal from the US tomorrow, this would be incredible.

Sounds like you're pressing triangle on the wrong item. Even without Plus you should still be able to see a Copy/Delete option on your games saves.

You have to go to the Game column -> Saved Data Utility (PS3) -> select a save (Folders will not work) -> Triangle -> either Copy or Copy Multiple -> Online Storage.

That is strange. Are you sure you're in the correct place? Even if you can't copy to the cloud, you should be able to copy to usb, other accounts or just delete.

Not to mention Spotify Premium ($9.99 a month) lets you download your song playlists and listen to them offline. Spotify killed my MP3 buying.

As a Vita owner I'm so excited for tomorrow's PS+!!!
I don't get why people wouldn't want to own their music. What happens if you cancel your spotify account? Do you lose access to your downloaded music? If not, is there a limit to how much you can download?

Is this true? They both claim 18 million global songs.

MU has offline too, for vita and android. It seems like maybe MU has gotten better than I used to be. I think you guys might want to have another look. iOS is kind of a second class citizen, though. No dedicated iPad app, not iPhone 5 optimized, no landscape mode, no iOS offline, no sign up from the app( that one is understandable, though. They don't want to give apple 30%). Even so, for 1/10th the price of spotify, I'm sold for a year.

Music discovery is decent. You can set up a pandora-style channel based on an artist and save stuff you like to your library. It also recommends to you based on what you've been listening to.

All I know is that I can find obscure Japanese noise music, local acts, British experimental music with a 50 cassette release, or a symphony by the exact conductor I want to listen to, while I found NONE of this stuff on MU.

If only Spotify had J-pop and J-rock. Does MU remedy this issue? If so, I buy actually leap on this offer.

Where's a place to get a cheap subscription? Vita owner here.

Amazon seems to be MSRP.

Well, part of the problem is that I don't even know what most of those things are. :) I am interested in classical, though, and their selection seemed very good to me. For example, they have the Karajan, Böhm, Furtwängler, and Kleiber recordings of Tristan und Isolde, amongst many others. That seems like pretty good coverage to me.

Two things they don't have on the ipad app, though, that are really getting on my nerves: a decent search interface and gapless playback.

There's someone on eBay selling a year for $40 right now. I can't vouch for him personally.

It works. Thanks a lot.

I did that already Killthee, but only information showed up. I even updated my PS3 for unnecessary update. I only get information.
I can barely make out that image (TP is banned btw, use http://imgur.com/ next time), but that looks like a save folder to me. Save folders can not be copied and only show "Information" when you press triangle. You have to select a game file by either opening up the save folder or pressing Square to change your display view. Once you select a save game file press triangle for Copy/Copy Multiple.

I don't have a Vita now, but I can download these Vita Plus games now and later install them on a Vita as long as I still have Plus right?

Quick Question: How long does Sony keep your cloud saves after you cancel your PS Plus account?

I had a plus account but cancelled, and shortly thereafter my system died. I just got it back and I'd like to access my Walking Dead save and I think it might be on the cloud. I'd be willing to sign up if I could access it again. Anyone know? I probably cancelled my plus account maybe 60 to 90 days ago.

I literally just subbed back up from a 6 month hiatus--all my stuff is still there.

According to the FAQ when they first came up with PS+, they keep the saves stored for 6 months after your subscription ends and then delete it. They may've extended this since then though, I'm not sure.

Can anyone sign into Sony Music Unlimited? I got my 60-day free pass, and now I'm about to buy the $12 yearly sub, but I can't sign in from my PS3 or from my iPhone now...are they getting overloaded?

just do it tomorrow or something, this is a week long deal right? no rush, since you still have that 60 days trial anyway.

I dont like how I can't fast forward or rewind within a song on the iOS app.

Wait, for Music Unlimited, can I upload my entire music collection like iTunes Match? Like stuff that is not on Music Unlimited's service?

Got the 60 days trial and ..really liked Music Unlimited. On Android (my phone) I can't rewind/forward within a song..but on the Vita I can. Also prefer how it looks and eveyrthing on Vita and how the offline songs can be used as part of the custom soundtracks for the games too. Will get a $12-sub by friday.

I have the S3 and I can rewind/forward.. It's as simple as tapping on the album art.

Can I add a year's subscription to what I have right now? Does the subscription time total up?

i think you SHOULD be able to stack, but not entirely sure.

The discount runs until the end of December though, so you should be good either way

E: Details!

Couple of questions I can answer…What happens after a year? There’s no automatic renewal at the end and the price will be less heavily discounted once the offer comes to an end (31st December or when 100k have been sold globally – whichever comes first). What if you’re already a subscriber to both? If you have a PS+ and a Music Unlimited subscription then you just need to purchase the 1 Year Pass from the store and it will begin at the end of the month you have paid for.

Music unlimited stacks up.

I first signed up for 60 days free from the PS3, then I bought the $12 one year sub. It shows the expiration date as 1/19/2014.
