So, my plus was about to expire (like, within the next 3 hours) so I went ahead and used some of the funds in my wallet to renew for another 3 months.
But, the free Vita games still list their expiration in the next 3 hours. Should that auto-update when I go to play them once the expiration passes, or do I really need to re-download the whole thing?
I tried doing the trick that I did once before for the PS3 stuff, re-downloaded the first few megabytes then cancel but that didn't work.

They should put Minvera's Den on sale.
People complaining about Bioshock 2, one of the best games of this generation being free? I understand it is cheap in USA, but goddam I feel happy that I can finally play it on PS3. The cheapest version on retail here in Brazil is like $30 (not that much considering the game).
It's my opinion of course.But I really think it's the best of this generation along with Uncharted 2 and Arkhan Asylum. These were the only game that really impressed me this generation.

I almost bought Bioshock 2 last week, but at the last moment i remembered that Bioshock Infinite was going to be released early next year, so i assumed that sooner or later it would be available for free in PS+. I just want SCEA to make Vanquish and Motorstorm Apocalypse available for free. So far, SCEE has had the better selection of free games.

Sweet. Been wanting to play Bioshock 2. First one is one of my fave games but because the original team didn't create BS2 I never felt compelled to buy at the time. Then i just kind of forgot about it.

I am looking forward to Bioshock 2. Played 1 and loved it, so hopefully this one is good as well.
For those complaining about US vs Euro plus, keep in mind that Euro announces for the month, while we get weekly updates. There was an official comment on the PS blog stating:
Stay tuned to these updates throughout the month, and I think youll find that well have plenty of content to match EU this December!
Who knows, maybe we'll get some AC/Vanquish action after all.

Are you going to get Bioshock Infinite? That comes with a free copy of the first game on disc.

Higher average than Vanquish's, even. Wasn't there a rule previously in Europe that they wouldn't do sub-85 metacritic games (like Vanquish) on PS Plus?
Guys any idea if The Walking Dead is going to be on sale or free for PSN + again? Since I played the first two episodes on the PS3 I'd like to continue with my save file but during the Holiday Steam Sale I'll probably get it since I think it was down to like 10 bucks for the whole season on PC.

I would bet it's not going on to be free. I think they tried to change the model this time, perhaps knowing the quality of their own game, and figured it'd be wiser to try and hook people so they would pay something rather than just give away the whole thing. Also, I imagine there could be some backlash if Sony went there again.
I completely forgot it scored that high. I put about 5 hours into it and it bored me to tears, so I traded it in. Maybe I'll give it a fair shake this time, along with Minerva's Den DLC.

There was with Ross, it's gone out of window since Chris took over (Vanquish and Rachet and Clank being the offenders). Not sure if that's good or bad, some really good games have a metacritic score from 75-85 so I'd be a shame to miss out on those.
Also maybe Chris is compensating for it by getting Arkham City, which is quite high on metacritic.
Same. I'm happy with this. Bioshock 1 broke my xbox, and I never went back to it. Have it on Steam now, so I guess I'll put it at the top of my list. I remember having a lot of fun with it, anyway.
I'd recommend picking up the first one, it's super cheap nowadays. You'd definitely get way way more out of the second game if you've played Bioshock 1.
If you can wait a bit, Bioshock Infinite comes with a free copy of Bioshock 1.
You don't really need to play the first, but I think it introduces you to Rapture in a much more breathtaking way. Haven't played the first game in a while (I really should fix that), but I'm pretty sure it's still a really pretty game, too.

Bloodrayne and Outland originally replaced Just Cause 2 and Lara Croft Guardians of Light so maybe we'll get a retail title in the next batch.
