Demon's Souls feels slow, stiff and clumsy. I'd rather play Street Fighter 2010 or something, because even though it kicks my ass just as much, at least playing well feels rewarding.

Oh and giving all the enemies in the stage more health every time you die isn't challenging, it's just tedious.

I feel bad for taking a dump on the game for like the fourth time now, but I ended up pretty disappointed with it. For the most part the game's good, I would probably love it if the combat didn't remind me of a survival horror game.

Sounds like you haven't gotten far in the game, the game gets very rewarding if you keep at it.

The slow combat is done on purpose, it also depends on stats etc

A random relatively new indie game and a 6-12 months old retail game that underperformed. I don't notice indie games much so I wouldn't know there, as or the retail game category, it's kinda tough to guess as well. It won't be a shooter because of Absolution. It probably won't be an RPG since SCEE will think they have that category covered with The War in the North and ME3. It probably won't be a fighter since DoA5 came to Plus last week. Hmm..it's a toughie.
 
Has anyone got a one month trial for US PS+?

I want to get GTA IV for under $10, can't find it for anywhere near that in the UK.
 
Going solely on the fact that the games are being announced a little earlier this time around, I wonder if that's (similarly to Hitman) to stop people with Plus picking it up just before. So could be something like Zombie Tycoon 2? On Plus in the States, and I believe would release here this week or next, so the Plus post could be to avoid angry people?

Personally I'd like to see:
PS3: Hitman, Blur, and The Last Guy
Vita: Zombie Tycoon 2 (cross-buy), and Virtua Tennis 4/Rayman Origins

Bad news, that game isn't sold anymore due to car licensing I believe. Was delisted from Steam. The good news is that it isn't super rare, and people still play multiplayer on weekends so pick up a used copy. Bizarre wouldn't have seen a cent anyway.
 
Just finished Spec Ops. I'm glad it was so short as it was a very generic military game. Still worth playing for the price.

Now onto Ratchet All 4 One. I made a goal to get through my backlog before I ever buy a game again. Still need to get through Infamous 2, Darksiders, Star Hawk.
 
So, uhh.. Has anyone had Plus games expire on them? Wanted to play some Bulletstorm just now, but I wasn't allowed to because the time limit was hit. I downloaded it on the 15th of october and the limit was set on january 14 or something. The day my Plus sub would expire, but I've never let it come that far, resubbed well before the expiration.

Checked some other games, and MotorStorm Apocalypse had the same issue. I was planning on playing/finishing both games still, so this kinda sucks... I'm guessing something went wrong and this isn't intentional on Sony's part, but I'd like to play the games I'm still playing for. Has anyone had similar issues?

Go to your purchase history, find said games, start and cancel the download and it should update their expiry dates.

Yeah I had to do this for some games.

I'd like them to add some stuff to Download History though so you can search and organize and stuff. Having 700+ downloads makes it hard to look for stuff sometimes. Yeah you can go to the store and look for the stuff, but just saying it'd be nice to have that option, too. =p

I hear you brother. Really wished they had a downloaded section, PS+ downloaded section and a Purchased section under the transaction/download history. Or at least sorting options. It really sucks trying to find previously purchased games/items.
 
Is anyone else finding this sale to be rather abysmal? I mean I don't really know anyone who wants to play GTA IV or has been meaning to buy it but hasn't already. It was already dirt cheap. The PS2 classics are nice additions, I guess. I don't know why Liberty City and Vice City Stories on the PS2 aren't discounted though.

The store is getting updated next month with remote download support so maybe we'll finally get the download list update they've been talking about.

Yeah, I could be interested in playing the PS2 versions of the Stories games, even though I already have the PSP games.
 
guess the PSN Store will have more updates schedule to make it more user-friendly with the PS4 coming up (and all its proposed social features)

exciting times ahead
