I came in here to see if anyone else was seeing the slow download speed I'm getting, but yours is going a bit faster than mine. I pulled down the first 50 MB in about 4 minutes. I think I need to reset my modem.

edit: And as soon as I posted that comment I switched to my router's firmware tab and the speed is up to 2 MB/s. Let's hope it keeps rising.
 
I realize this is a bit of a broken record, but: spending time to wait for 7 gigs to download and install - okay, I'm fine with that. But then I have to launch the software and wait for a subsequent 1 gig patch to download because the network can't just let me download an updated version of the game - what the fuck. :/
 
A little off topic but I just finally tried Soul Calibur Broken Destiny out and wow. I can't believe this is a PSP game! It looks extremely close to the console version of SCIV. I had no idea this was even possible on PSP. It has the character creation and everything.

I stopped downloading them after hearing they were only trials, but if they really are full games then this is an excellent surprise. Never played a GoW before :D

My internet is crapping out on me today though, so I'll wait until tomorrow to redownload. I LOVE PS+!!!

Thats why I would love Namco to Port Tekken Tag Tournament 2 & Soul Calibur V Namco are God Tier when they want to be.

Fantastic -- I just downloaded too. (First time using the web store -- love it.) Set to download even right from the PC!

These freebies, plus just checking out the first 30 minutes of Sleeping Dogs ... really appreciating my Plus membership now. As a dude that kind of doesn't buy games anymore, it's a really great way to have some stuff occasionally pushed out for me to check out.

The Vita games are usually reserved for the back end of the month and the retail title is usually the last week so it'll probably be added on the 28th.
 
Nice catch,thanks,downloading now,never finished either of them when they came out so I guess I will give them another shot hehe...oh and tried GoW III while I was at it,no such luck hehe...
 
Question I have - can Plus games be game shared? Me and a friend both subscribe to Plus, but he has subscribed longer than me so has more free games. In theory, could I log in as him, download all his old Plus goods to my PS3, then log back in as me and still have access to them?

Yes. Just sign in with his PSN and activate his account on your PS3, then just download what you want and you should be good.

Thanks for the info! I'll probably just download Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny on my Vita and play that instead for the time being

probably for services and discounts on day 1 digital ps4 and psn games. 1 hour trial for all games. buying a ps3 game will let you play the better cersion when it releases on ps4 for free. they could do a lot of things initially to get people to get plus.
 
Ah Crap I saw it and thought it was nothing special and missed the free GOWs oh well, the downloading speed is killing me right now, usually it's decent enough.

If you complain, they'll usually let you off once with a refund.

I had the same thing happen and they were pretty understanding.

Check your expiration date. It's probably a 3 month sub, they don't sell 30 day subs and trials are switched over to the 3 month option when they end.

Do call them though and explain to them you forgot to turn off auto renewal if you don't want the sub/want a refund.

You should make sure auto-renew really is turned off and delete your CC from your account so even if it is on they can't charge you in the future.
