PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

Awesome, that worked jvm. Still seems a little buggy (games that I purchased still show their shopping cart and clicking on that again won't let me purchase the game -- so it knows that I did purchase it), but I did add all the games to my cart and purchase, and verified they are on my download list. I'm assuming that's enough, right?

When I was going through them it'd let me buy the PS3 version but not PS Vita versions of the same game -- I'm guessing that having either is enough? I don't have a Vita yet (getting one soon, next decent deal), so maybe that's the problem as I have none registered?

Thanks for all of your patience with my (stupid) questions so far, guys!

If the game (i.e. license) is listed in your download list, then you're set. If it was a free item, then it will go away when your sub expires. If you paid anything at all for it, then that license is permanently attached to your account, regardless of sub.

If you buy a cross-buy item (e.g. Pinball Arcade) then you can only buy one of them, yes. You should see licenses for both in your download list. Note that there are some PS3/PSV games that are not cross-buy.

Hate to be that guy, but a little research goes a long way. It's a basic foundation for a platform, like Rock Band. That way you can pick and choose table you like.

Each table is a game within itself and potentially takes dozens if not hundreds of hours of playtime to master. Sounds like you're just not into it. I'd recommend spending some time with TOTAN in that first four pack - it's arguably the best of that bunch.
 
So what Fighting game are we getting for June for US PSN?
For that matter, Will June's offerings be announced this week or next?

My guess?

5 games announced on blogcast.

Get all of them before E3 (3 one Tuesday, 2 on E3 day).

3 major Sony IP titles announced for the IGC this month at the E3 press conference (Uncharted, PS All-Stars, and other one)

Making for hefty 8 titles in June.

Thanks! If I use the deal from gamestop, can I wait to actually sign up for PS plus until a week where a game I want is leaving? Or is there a time limit on when it has to be used by?
 
How big are the chances of Tomb Raider or SSX to appear on Plus? I think I'm gonna buy one of the two but I don't want to have it as a free game in less than 2 months.

TR is a Square Enix game, and considering that Deus Ex and Hitman: Absolution both came to Plus mere months after retail release, I'd say it's a good bet that Lara Croft: Origins will be a Plus freebie sometime in the late summer.

Meanwhile, SSX is EA's baby, and Mass Effect 3 also came to Plus earlier this year, so who knows? Maybe?

Tales? Not a chance. Though that would be nice, I don't think Namco Bandai like Plus much.

I just bought SSX for 10€, so I wouldnt want to see it on Ps+ -.-

But honestly, I dont think thats a game they'd put on Ps+, have they put any "sports" game yet ?!
 
10€ for SSX at Worten in Portugal eh? Might check it out.

Meanwhile, I can't wait for the yearly games. I won't buy more games until they announce them, only after.
 
They have others at lower prices, though a bit older, like Skate 2, and a few PC games.

I hope they dont put Uncharted 3 on the yearly update, most of people have played it, would be a waste of space :/ Would love to see Resistance 3, Gran Turismo 5 and Playstation All-Star ^^

You say most people have played Uncharted 3, and then you suggest GT5 which I believe is the best selling game on the system?

I'm just going to stop buying games now, picked up BB a couple weeks back to deal with a fighter itch I had and now she's free. Oh wells..... sorta odd that they'd put Germinator on when that was just free wasn't it?

I think the difference is that Hitman Absolution wasn't selling that well. Tomb Raider seems to do better. Not saying that it's impossible to show up in summer but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if it wont show up until the end of the year

btw. Deus Ex isn't really something to go by because it was released 2011 while the whole free games thing started in 2012.
 
Draw Slasher worth the discount? I am not a fan of touch-only games but art style looks great. How is the replay value and gameplay? From the video, it looks boring and bland but maybe feels different in our hands.

If you can, just get it now, before E3, next month those yearly games will all be replaced but if you sign now just add them and play when you want.

On a side I can't wait to see what they are going for in June for the Yearly games!

There won't be enough PS4 games to give away from free immediately. I image they will offer a few small discounts, and there might be something relating to streaming old games... I mean... they're gonna have to beta-test that functionality aren't they? Might as well open it up to PS+ users first.

Some codes last forever some have expiration dates. I would say waiting a week wouldn't hurt but don't wait too long unless you're sure your code lasts.

No, they announced everything in early May. (GameStop also was able to 'leak' the month's games a week early)

We'll probably get June next week unless someone from GameStop gets it ahead of time.
 
Looking forward to BlazBlue. I considered buying it at the Vita's launch because I heard it has a good training mode, and I've always wanted to figure out how to do more in 2D fighters than shoot off special moves in succession.
