Dumb question, I'm a new PS3 owners and have been downloading some game via PS+, but I cant stand the PSN store systems sounds. Is there any way to turn them off?

Holy shit, I thought Vanquish had been removed from the free games list, but just grabbed it from the webstore, awesome! And the Sony Entertainment webstore is way better than the playstation.com one, holy crap.

This way will show what you have left for space and the HD size. By "upgrade" I hope you mean upgrading the hard drive and not "upgrading" to a whole new PS3, to get a larger hard drive.

Navigate to the "Settings" menu on your Cross Media Bar.

Scroll down to the "System Settings" option and select it.

Scroll to "System Information" and select it.

The amount of free space available and HD size can be seen.

Settings -> System Settings -> System Info

Derp, don't know how I apparently missed this. And yeah, I meant getting a bigger HDD, not a new system :p

I just got access to the Live Events Viewer Beta with WWE Payback PPV for free.

imeQCxi.jpg

Did anyone else here get it?

Right now, the app just shows WWE Payback for free and WWE Money in the Bank with no price. I'll post pictures when I can.

update: And here is an album of images. Sorry I don't have a capture device for clearer screenshots.

Here's something I didn't know. When you resubscribe to PS+ after letting it lapse, everything you've ever gotten free from Plus, including things that you already owned before ever subscribing, gets bumped up to the top of your download list.

Ugh.

That's dumb. But I guess it's an incentive to never let it lapse.

I didn't even let mine lapse, just bought a new code and stacked it and it did that. It kinda sucks but it also reminded me about a bunch of PS+ games I got that I forgot about.

Just curious, but why is that a negative? I can't really think of content that I bought that's not on my PS3, but there are certainly Plus titles that aren't.

Is this supposed to be a problem?

It wouldn't be an issue if they had categories for the download list. Once you get a lot of items it becomes a pain trying to look for anything specific cause of the single list layout. It's even worse when a good chunk of your collection is PS+ stuff cause when you renew it, it all goes back to the top of the list making it take longer for you to find any paid content.
Is there a listing of all USA PS+ free games released/date released? Similar to this http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/gen...ree-games.html

I need to free up some HDD space and the download list is horrible as ever.

So I am getting No content was found in my Download List in the store and I know I have over 800 items on it since I recently upgraded my hard drive again and had to redownload a lot of my stuff. I can download most my things by finding it in the store, but certain things you can only access through your download list I noticed like Infamous1.

Anyone else have this problem?
it started last night but still doing it now, tried signing I and out didn't work.

Uh oh...GraveRobberX has a similar problem too
since last year
Call up Sony and check with them about it.

So I started Uncharted 3 and it seems that the Co-op isn't available (unless you pay for the co-op pack). And the Platinum requires a co-op trophy, crap. Or am I missing something?

Pretty sure you can play split screen coop without the DLC. I don't remember properly, but the coop stuff was an actual DLC pack and not part of the OG game. I think you can play split screen coop without it though, and that gets you the trophy.

No :(
I bought the splitscreen add on, but it keeps saying that I have to buy the co-op mode. I fear that we will see this kind of shenanigans even more on the PS4 (Driveclub "PS+ edition")

Sorry man, I really can't remember, but you could defo get the plat without the DLC when the game launched. I just don't know how that stacks with the PS+ version, but it should be identical in that way.

This is odd for sure.

Look on the bright side, it's very easy to tell what you own from your PS+ content.

Do we know if PS+ will allow anyone on the Ps4 to play online - I.e. all accounts? I'm the only PS+ member in our house, and any account can play games I've downloaded, but only I get cloud saves.

I'm hoping online is open to anyone on the console. Don't want to have to buy two PS+ subs so my son is covered

According to Sony, yes.

Seems to say you do have to pay for this platinum, which is annoying.

Personally, I'm mostly past the whole trophy thing. Mostly.

This would imply that the PS+ version has been altered, and is not the standard retail version of the game.

That is some low shit, for a game that will be there all year.

Edit: Of course, dumbass me. They ripped the multiplayer from it already right? That's why the trophy can't be obtained without a purchase.

The download for Uncharted 3 is fucking huge. I just checked my PS3 after leaving it on for awhile and I saw that I had a ton of movies and languages, so I deleted them. But when I went to install the single player game, I was never left with a game icon. Did I delete too much?

It is outrageously huge.

Glad i have it on disc.

Is this supposed to be a problem?

It means I had to scroll through hundreds of things to get to something I bought like two weeks ago. The download list is horribly organized and this just makes it worse.

Just curious, but why is that a negative? I can't really think of content that I bought that's not on my PS3, but there are certainly Plus titles that aren't.

Either your hard drive is massive or you haven't bought nearly as many things as I have.

If I remember the way Sony worded it correctly, sub-accounts will be covered. I don't know if other master accounts on the same system will be covered too.

Guys, I need help understanding the cloud saves on Vita (same as PS3 I guess).

How do I access this cloud to check the saves and their dates? How do I know when my game is saved on the cloud? I'd like to erase a few games but keep the saves, and since saves are attached to games on Vita, well. :/

You have to download the f2p multiplayer to be able to play U3.

For Vita go on the content manager app and there will be an option there to upload your Vita saves to the cloud.

On the PS3 you just go to the game saved folder and click online storage. It'll list everything you've uploaded and all the same details as the local files.

On the Vita you have to use the Content Manager to browse what you have uploaded.

With all the minor changes I'm reading about the PSN version of Uncharted 3, will the trophy set be different in the PSN version than the retail version and appear twice? Like the guy who made a thread about having the DeS trophy set repeated.

Haha, I never use this app, I couldn't have guessed. Thanks Guy.

So I know we get a bunch of free titles we probably wouldn't have cared about if it weren't for PS+.

Do you guys actually try most of the titles? How long on average do you try a new game for?

I tried Double Dragon Neon last night. Was cool, but kind of difficult for me. Spent maybe 20 minutes playing it. Also tried Joe Danger 2 (or something like that), removed it after 5 minutes.

i installed uc3, multiplayer, single player, and cut scenes 2d, and only the multiplayer icon shows up in my game folder...help?

oh n/m when i opened the free to play game, single player showed up in the menu O_o

I try out almost every single title, regardless of whether I have interest in it or not. There have been exceptions, namely online-only multiplayer games like The Heist. A few have gotten deleted after a brief period (10-15 minutes), like Foosball and Joe Danger, but most titles get at least a few hours of play. I'm happy to say I actually complete a fair percentage of the games.

New PlayStation Plus member here, downloaded Uncharted 3, only to find out that:

- 2D/3D movies take up about 25 GB
- Halfway through the singleplayer download, it stopped because I was running out of space.

Damn. :P

well I guess since I started UC3, now would be a good time to play UC 1 and 2 since I got them free and never bothered to open the games yet.

I'm absolutely loving Uncharted 3. I'll be a heretic and say I'm liking it much more than Uncharted 2 :O

I'm particularly liking the somewhat improved hand-to-hand combat. Still button-mashy but I've always disliked the shooting in the Uncharted series and disposing of multiple enemies using hand-to-hand is actually viable now. That, and there's far more platforming and puzzle solving, which I enjoy.

Basically, Uncharted 3 requires me to shoot less, which I find to actually like far more. Incidentally, Uncharted 1 had by far the most shooting and it's by far my least favorite of the 3.

Just grind a bit and DDN gets a LOT easier. And it's well worth it.

For real!!!!!
That's messed up. >:(

Holding a single trophy behind a pay wall is rediculous. I might as well buy a physical copy of the bloody game instead.

Has anybody tried emailing Sony to see if they know this is the case and whether they would think about making the coop pack part of the PS+ deal?
