This may have been answered already, but which items specifically do I have to download to play UC3? I downloaded the "Single Player Experience" but I guess I need to download a few more things to actually play the game?

I just signed up for PS+, and went straight for UC3 Single Player. I've tried twice now, and both times it's downloaded the "French Language Pack" and "Multiplayer Free-to-Play Add-on" and then stopped. If I try again, it starts downloading the French pack again. How do I get the Single Player?
edit: never mind. Third time's the charm. Not a great start for PS+, but I've downloaded several other games now and all is well.

Single player 12gb + 2d movies (or 3d depending on what tpyou have) 13gb + mp part 4gb.only when you have these three installed the icon for uc3 appears

Try going to the in-game store in Multiplayer Free-to-Play. If Single Player is listed as free, get it from there and see if all of the parts will get downloaded.
Played two more hours of SR3 today. I am not enjoying anything about this game so far. The humor isn't funny, the shooting is extremely clunky, movement is janky, and the side missions are dull and uninteresting (aside from the lightcycle one). Does this game get any better later on?
Yeah, I'm feeling about the same. Glad I didn't get this outside of PS+
I'd like to know if there's some big thing to make the game more enjoyable that I'm just missing.

Question for you guys playing SR3: Is the THQ logo still there, or has it been replaced with the Deep Silver logo?
Interesting - I know that new retail versions have the logos switched, don't know about downloadable ones.

I have another quick, possibly stupid, question. Actually a couple of questions...
-Will the PS4 use the same sort of hard drives as the PS3?
-Will the PSN store on PS4 be the "same" as the PS3? By that I mean, will all that we buy and download on PS3 be able to be played on the PS4? I'm not talking about PS3 disc based games, just the stuff bought from the PSN store.

Conversely, I was most annoyed by the Light Cycle crap. Everything else was pretty fun.
The hard drive is upgradable but I don't know if they confirmed if it's a SATA or not.
No PS3 (digital or otherwise) software will be compatible with the PS4.
Same hard drive. And no PS3 games are compatible with PS4, not PSN, not disc, none.

I have a question about the online storage with PS+ - does it store any files that can't be seen through the respective menus on the PS3 or Vita?
The reason I ask is every time my PS3 has done the automatic update lately, I get a message saying there wasn't enough space to upload save data to online storage. I check my save data and it's showing as 988 MB used out of 1024 MB. I thought this was high so checked the totals of every item shown in the online storage folder. This is what I found:
PS3: 35.99 MB in total
Vita: 67.55 MB in total (52MB of that taken up by LBP Vita for some reason...)
Total: 103.54 MB
I have no idea what is taking up the extra space in the online storage and accounting for the extra 884 MB that the PS3 says has been used.
Has anyone had a similar problem to this?

Formerly worldrevolution. The only reason I am nice to anyone else is to avoid being banned.
While you'll miss the dynamic between some of the main characters and a few nods to the previous titles, all 3 of the games are basically standalone.
Not lost at all. I've played U:GA only before U3 and it felt fine. It really is like playing an Indiana Jones movie, it's a standalone adventure that has some recurring characters but they are reestablished with the first scene that they're in.

you'll be fine you'll just miss out on some of the charm to do with character relationships. A lot of the charm actually. But story wise and all that it's pretty standalone. You should definitely play part 2 some time though, it's awesome.

So if you were on Plus, download a game and then delete it later, and the month passes, can you re-download that game? I ask because I'm concerned the HDD will fill up fast
Yes, the game will be in your download list so you can redownload later (as long as you are still a + member)
I have the 80GB console, as a new PSN member the DL and delete with ability to download again later info is golden to me.
I have a similiar question... I do not own a Vita, is there a way to download or try to start a DL from internet/PS3 where I could later download the game to my Vita if I do in fact get one. Thank you for any advice.

I think (pretty positive) you can just add it to your basket and checkout on the online store or on your PS3 and it will still be good for the vita. You don't need to own one. As long as it's in your download list you'll have access to it.
Yes, buy it from the Web store and it will be in your download list. You can then download it when you get a vita.

You sure, I always read is as free/total, but it doesn't really state if it's free/total or used/total, but since I've almost not uploaded anything, I tend to think its free/total.
Ah I think this might be it! I had a PES game a couple of years ago and downloaded an option file with all sorts of custom logos etc. Did you manage to delete them? I can't see it listed in the Online Storage folder.
It could be, but as the PS3 was giving me a message that it didn't have enough space to upload, I assumed it was used space - if it was free space, then the message about having no space would be even stranger.
It's free/total, which is very confusing. You'll notice 1024 - 988 = 36. It's probably your PES game messing things up, but don't look in the Online Storage folder as it's probably not been uploaded.

Thanks. SR3 doesn't seem to be my cup of tea (that shooting is so clunky) so I thing I'll give Uncharted a go next.
Ah that makes sense now. What confuses me though is why the PS3 thinks there isn't enough free space when it has 988 MB to play with. I just upgraded the HDD today (from 250gb to 1TB) so during the format any content on it got erased. So I can only think it's uploaded something somewhere that I can't see to be able to delete, which is a bit frustrating.

"Solved" the online storage issue, well it solved itself really.
I realised the PS3 hadn't done an automatic update since I replaced the HDD today, so I changed the update time and powered it off to let it update.
Turned it back on and it had uploaded fine, no error message about having no space.
I assume the cause was having the old Pro Evo logos etc on the original HDD, which now aren't there on the new one.

So I spent a few minutes looking back at the PS Plus offerings from Jan 2013 till now (June 2013), and I'm gobsmacked at the titles they gave away. PS Plus is a steal.
Too bad I didn't subscribe earlier, as I have missed some gems (e.g. Metal Gear Solid HD collection). Currently I picked up Ico/SOTC HD. Also see Uncharted 3 but have already completed that. Battlefield 3 is coming out next month. :O
I would happily pay the yearly asking price if the PS4 has this kind of value.

Dude yes I'm so excited to play VLR! Have fun with 999 it's a fantastic game. I strongly recommend everyone play 999 before VLR. I mean, I haven't played the sequel yet but I've heard it's pretty strongly tied to 999.
My free 10-month subscription is about to end. That blew by fast.

Dammit I am such a retard... they will probably never be that cheap again on PSN. I don't know why I didn't realize that at the time.
