Yeah, go in expecting 2020 or 2021 Showcase levels of quality. If it's any better, that's icing on the cake.

Those were fairly good shows. Not earth shattering like 2015, but good.

Sony only markets games that are in the immediate future now. We will never get another 2015 legendary show from them like that again

FF16 demo was already anounced. It will be available on PSN two weeks before the launch day. Unless they release an adicional demo. FF15 got a couple of demos too so its possible.

Their Showcases garnered a certain prestige during PS4 era, which had a lot to do with him and how they presented it. You may find it pretentious, but it elevated the product as a whole.

Now that TotK released, Spiderman 2 is the biggest platform exclusive. Of course it will be in this Showcase, where millions of people will be watching live. 5 minutes for its trailer is pushing it I think. It will have it's own SoP in August probably.
As far as PSVR2, the disappointment is understandable, but look at it this way: Without VR the show would just be 50 minutes anyway.

MGS3 was the only one, but that was the industry's worst kept secret. And give Amazon Spain time, they're notorious for slipping. Then again, with Sony Direct and other self published storefronts, they can afford to hold off from third party retail spilling the beans a little longer now.

I saw all I needed when he tried piling on Jim Ryan for telling his employees to respect each other and leave that shit at home if you can't, that not everyone shares the same views. He definitely tried to create a CULTure within the company, we saw the shift over his tenure. One that would be at odds with Japan, I would imagine.

I don't know where this 10-1min showing of SM2 is coming from. Have they ever done that for any game during one of their showcases? especially since they now have game centered SOPs too.

Maybe? So weird that we've been taking about this sequel for years and years with no official news. Isn't Helldivers kind of a small-scale game? (I wanted to play it on Vita but didn't pick it up. ) Seems like it's got to be done already by now.
