Fuck NBA2k18

Its unfortunate because they will continue on with invasive MT's as long as their game sells. It will probably be top 10 all year.

EU's thirst for Crash Bandicoot is insatiable.

Edit: No no no... I got it. "Who keeps buying Crash Bandicoot?"

Ripped straight from every NPD thread ever.

Sad to see Live get handily upstaged by games that are 4 and 5 years old.

let the 2k fuckery continue...

Surprised to see Uncharted that low. I knew it wouldn’t be Top 5 or event top 10 but 18 is real low. I’m guessing the price was just a bit too much for many. Nice to see NHL does better than NBA Live by far.

It blows my mind that Rockstar is still getting huge sales on games that came out for the fucking PS2. R* is unstoppable.

Not sure if many came out but it is kinda crazy not a single indie is in the top 20 outside rocket league. Sony turning away from spotlighting them for this reason as switch is becoming the new home for indies.

Not much people buying PS2 classics from EU store likely because people think most of the PS2 games on EU store PAL versions are 50Hz while on NA store it's 60Hz

I buy all my PS2 classics from NA store just in case

Not shocking for this kind of game to fall off after its first month, but it's a bummer to see that Hellblade dropped out of the top 20. Hope it did well for them.

FIFA there at #1 on the store will definitely be part of the reason why retail sales are down.

To think it wasn't that long ago that the top 20 was mostly indies with more people still choosing to buy their games at retail. Seems things are slowly shifting even despite the extortionate pricing.

Quick takeways

Very good performance for Destiny 2 and the expansion pass (no surprise)

Rainbow Six Siege legs continue to be insane. And just look at the Year 2 expansion sales. So not only is the game itself performing great, its moving huge amounts of DLC revenue

Very very very poor performance for MvC Infinite, though after the other regions sales we've seen this is unsurprising. Charting 19th in the US and not at all in EU is just a straight up disaster

Seems Final Fantasy IX did well for itself

Also UFC 2 still trucking along month in and month out. Even the DLC is charting in EU

FIFA is slowly but surely gaining more traction in NA. I wonder if by the start of next gen it will close the gap on Madden.

It's a shame to see Sonic Mania drop off completely when it still seems to be doing so well on Switch.

The Switch has a less robust library right now. Give it time, it will look very similar.

I bought 2 copies of knack 2. One physical and the other digital. So i did my part. I still knew it was gonna bomb but it was improved in everyway and definitely worth playing and supporting.

you know it's the dark ages when MvC:I does better than Knack 2.

I don't know what to believe in anymore.

the demo this year did a lot for me, actually. I still don't think its as good as 2k in the gameplay department, but holy shit I was able to actually progress my character in the demo vs the in game 6 months of nba. Fuck 2k for that.

Made a westbrook type and all the ball handling shit was actually really fun to do. I never felt that you can ball like kyrie irving actually does in 2k, felt that way with live. It still has presentation issues and some of the animations and physics are a little off, but they've got a good thing going.

I agree that its a shame that 2k is rewarded for their bullshit

I mean MvC:I sales are horrible. It outperforming Knack 2 doesn't say much at all other than both are in the running for biggest bombs of 2017, though I lean MvCI being the larger one here due to more riding on its success.

wants to fuck an Asian grill.
I like to imagine someone at Activision going "what in the actual fuck" at crash bandicoot's performance.

Friday the 13th is Indie.

Seriously how many people HASN'T purchased GTA V at this point?

I would assume a good amount of people that are purchasing PS4 for the first time are also picking up GTAV.
