PlayStation Trophy Club

Red Matter 2 was my last platinum trophy.

I’m probably a few trophies from a platinum trophy on several games, but I just haven’t got around to polishing them off because something new has always come along.

I still need the 3rd legendary car on GT7 along with a few simpler bits and bobs, but I’m happy to keep this one going. Stellar Blade may be the next one for me, and I need a few for Horizon FW.

Seriously, though. Nice to see new people joining in the club.

And The Last of Us Part I makes it Platinum no. 22, after Spider-Man 2, and TLoU P2 and Ghost of Tsushima remasters :)

After finishing it in 2018 on the PS3, I forgot how good of a game it is. 18 hours well spent. I'm glad they made the Platinum easier than the PS3/PS4 trophies.

In the light of upcoming Dragon Age 4, I went back visiting Inquisition.

I guess you could call it the last good piece from OG Bioware, as retrospectively scrutinize, DA:I still has many of the good old stuff from Bioware.

The characters writings, the banters between team members, the companion story arcs, the ample branches and consequences, all feel so refreshing in 2024 as we barely got this type of "true RPGs" any more.

It breaks my heart knowing that DA 4 is on the trajectory to a huge debacle. I wish it could prove me wrong.

I've been running back log and PS+ games since Ragnarok was the only PS5 game I've purchased. I play a game until I get the Plat which might take months. Working on FF7 Remake, Tunic, and Power Wash Sim, but that's really slow since I play once every month or two. Also, some times I want get to the point to just go as easy as possible on some or see before playing the trophy difficulty

Hi all,
I have been a silent reader in this forum for many years and just stumbled across this thread by chance. I also like to collect trophies from time to time and am currently at 260 platinums...
At the moment I'm working on a few vanillaware games and a couple of arcade racers, but next I want to tackle the Stellaris DLCs and check out Crusader Kings 3.
These are my most recently played games:

Was this a hard or long platinum? Congrats btw.

I don't find the game to be too hard, I finished it back in the 90's too, the trophies were pretty straight forward to achieve but you do need to finish the game. However, a lot of people complain about the controls for the ship you pilot, which makes the game very difficult if that's the case.

Did this game have the rewind feature built in?

Daxter - #240

Impressive for a 2006 PSP spinoff, but not the best game. But it was free, short, and easy. Decent nostalgia trip.
I platinumed the ps4 and 5 version of this. Did you use the rewind feature?

Ratchet and clank size matters next up for my psp nostalgia trip!

Still got the DLC to do but I'll do that another day. Overall a fun platinum but definitely frustrating at times because the performance is so bad on PS3

Hats off on this one. I tried going back to PS3, and it took hours to update and just syncing trophies is a nightmare these days. Great plat to have tho.

Hello everyone. I recently achieved my 8 platinum trophy. It's actually very exhausting. I would not even started it If wasn't for one occasion at my job. Before, I was just walking through the games with interesting plot and I did not like any challenges. I even played only on the story mode. But once I visited on of our coworking Stockholm(it's a part of my job and it's not the point) and I saw how employees there are playing there God of War, specifically trying to defeat Valkyries. I did not manage to do that. I was interested and I asked about it. The guys said that when they defeat them, they will have all 100% walkthrough. I told that playing the story was more than enough for me. They said that they like challenges and they like to complete any task at 100% even if it's a game. Plus, they said that they used to do the same but when they checked how few tasks left to achieve platinum trophy they started playing for trophies. At that point of time I was walking through Spider man and noticed that I have only one thing left to complete the game 100%.

And from that point, all games that I play, I try to complete at 100%. But some of them have insane task and I don't even bother since it drives me crazy. The Uncharted, Last of Us, The Witcher, Battle for Middle Earth - awesome games but it takes too much to complete them at 100%.

Firing up the PS3 made me realize that system showed off your trophies a lot better. It’s like the later systems stop giving a shit.

#242 - Plucky Squire

Look, this is charming and has a very neat visual hook. But it was really boring and one of the longest feeling 10 hour games. It’s just pretty dull and I cannot believe how much dialogue there is in it. I spent half the game mashing X to play because every time you play for 5 minutes it goes right back to babbling. It isn’t horrible, and I got it on Plus, but I had been looking forward to it for a while so I found this pretty disappointing.

Another easy plat. The biggest challenge are multiplayer trophies. Rest is rather simple.
Very good title, but I like T7 better.

BTW, exactly 30 years ago Tekken debuted on arcade. Now this platinum is even better.

#43 - Astro Bot

Finally platinumed Astro bot, that master challenge at the end took me more times than I care to admit but finally overcame and discovered “it’s all in the mind”

great game and some genuinely difficult moments. Good value and didn’t overstay its welcome. Hope they throw in some free DLC at some stage.

All GTA games now platinumed. Roll on GTA VI.

As you can see I was earning trophies back in 2008 but thanks to a glitch on my save file I couldn't get past 99%.

Redemption at last. Still have the DLC to do but after that I'll be down to my last 4 or 5 ps3 games. It can enjoy it's retirement then.

I sure was liking this for the first hour or two. Then it quickly became one of the most boring and tedious games Ive played all year, despite how cool it looked.

I really need some help to get a multiplayer trophy (Weapon Master) in Doom Eternal. Add ByWatterson if you want to help!

Silent Hill 2 Remake! Easy GOTY frontrunner and yes I am aware of recency bias. It's that good.

Perfectly doable in 2 runs playing the first one hard/hard 100% blind. For the second NG+ you find a weapon at the very beginning that one-shots all enemies and 3-shots bosses, on "light" (easy mode) melee only run with no radio is a giant meme, piece of cake and powerpyx has a great all-collectibles guide as many are insanely easy to miss. You can set up every ending option open 'till the very end of the hotel and then run them all from one save. The speedrun trophy is bugged tho as I got it on my first playthrough that lasted over 25 hours. Also the information you can't get "archivist" on NG+ on powerpyx is incorrect, one note in the hotel is indeed missing but there is a new one in the NG+ safe in bowl-o-rama - that's how I got it.

Good luck!

#44 - Battlefield 1

Recently wanted to clear up some old games I never platinumed but were close and achievable.

This game still holds up well, WTF happened to dice. I have put in 145 hours according to PSN, I adored this game back in the day. Battlefield was a lot of fun.

Better late than never

I am a few trophies away from the platinum of Iron Meat. They’re not easy for my level of skill.

I have to beat level Tower on Normal without dying. It is a tricky level.
I have to beat level City on Hard in less than 10 minutes. The time isn’t an issue, it’s just surviving. Hard is hard and lives are limited.
I have to beat a boss without stepping on specific platforms during the boss fight. The hard part is that if you die during the fight, you respawn on those specific platforms.

Best of luck on your endeavour!

Never heard of this game. Watched a few minutes on YouTube, it looks like metal slug a bit. Looks like fun!

I'm not really a trophy hunter, and I have around 20 something platinums, but I wanted to share my most recent one in Zenless Zone Zero. It took me 180 hours (I could have gotten it faster if I had started working on a grindy trophy earlier) and it's my rarest one yet, at least according to psnprofiles. The difficulty wasn't high; it just involved a lot of daily grinding like in every other live service game.
