does gravity rush have a release date in the US? the wikipedia page says feb 22 but the official website says TBA!
I want to know this too. It was the most impressive game on the demo unit to me. Even more than Uncharted

Well after reading the latest Game Informer in the crap room, apparently Army Corps of Hell is garbage so I would recommend picking up another title.
Transferred from my PS3
Peace Walker
GT PSP
Killzone Liberation
Pursuit Force
From the Vita PSN store I re-downloaded
Tactics Ogre
FFT : War of the Lions
Disgaea
FF : Dissidia
Pinball Dreams & Fantasies (which look pretty damn nice in vertical orientation)
On the Vita front I have JP Uncharted, RR and UMvC retail cards.
Going to buy all my Western games on DD - will pick up Wipeout 2048 first, then Gravity Rush whenever that comes out (JP demo was excellent, but I am too lazy too keep switching accounts now that the US store is up).
Metal Gear Acid got put on PSN?EB called and I picked up my 32GB memory card, my Sony screen protector pack and my copy of Wipeout 2048 today. It's strange having the accessories in my hand when I know the system (and several of the games) are still several days away, but I wanted to grab my memory card now in case there was a limited supply of the 32GB cards (like in Japan) and I wanted to see these cute new game packs for myself... gotta say, these game cases look great!
I'd be more excited but I'm in the middle of playing Metal Gear Acid!² on my PSPgo, and it's keeping me sufficiently distracted that I don't think much about it unless I'm on GAF...
It was one of those I was most interested in too. Similarly, if I could trust it to be a great port I'd definitely be on Ninja Gaiden, never played the games beyond the demos but I DID enjoy the demos, but for all I know Tecmo may botch the port to get it out in time for launch. Similar for Rayman Origins due to its history of being rushed to launches, though less concerned since there are play impressions and they are positive.Well after reading the latest Game Informer in the crap room, apparently Army Corps of Hell is garbage so I would recommend picking up another title.
I'm guessing the game was ripped, but I DO believe it was put on the PSN in either Europe or Japan. Speaking of which, I'm hoping the Vita encourages publishers to put more of their back catalog on the PSN than they did before, it's ridiculous how little of SE's stuff is up that didn't come before the go.Metal Gear Acid got put on PSN?
Any idea why Amazon doesn't have release date shipping for HSG, but does for EVERY other Sony 1st party game?
Seems like no Vita in the upcoming Target, Best Buy, or TRU ads.![]()
No need for Release Date Delivery when you can ship right now!Any idea why Amazon doesn't have release date shipping for HSG, but does for EVERY other Sony 1st party game?
yeah i messed a bit too much with the blur in one of the wipeout shots but fuck it! the game runs amazing and still shots don't really do it justice.
Release date shipping is no more since they're shipping now.
Even better reason to wait for the 3G Launch Bundle. I bet deals will be during the real launch.
Damn, really? Elaborate pls - I was curious about this one
The lack of attention and desire for Escape Plan throughout GAF is depressing. =(
Is Wipeout the free game that you get if you purchase a data plan in the US? How does all of that work? I'm considering cancelling my Wipeout preorder if that is the case.
Another game I hadn't seen mentioned yet is Gran Turismo PSP - works fine. Looks pretty decent on the Vita screen, although the aliasing is pretty pronounced. Playing with the analog stick instead of the nub is a joy.
here are some pics guys! someone asked earlier for shots of modnation. sorry that it's of the boring first level ha.

On one hand, I'm excited about Hot Shots Golf for Vita. On the other, I remember Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 for the PSP where online died within weeks.
I'd be so there if I knew there would be an ongoing, lasting online community for the game except for a handheld of diehards.

Well the reviewer basically said that it was a sad attempt of mimicking pikmin, it looks like a PSP game and does not really use much of the Vita capabilities, has no story, and is extremely repetitive.
The final score was 4.5/10.
Wipeout 2048 got a final score of 7.5/10
And the Vita itself had a score of A-

Just finished getting all my non-Vita-downloadable PSP games across to my JP Vita using my PS3.

Can't wait for the PS1 support to hit so I can pull all my RPGs across.
Those games simply don't appear in the content manager. What does non-working mean (ie at what point did you get an error? Before transferring to the PSV?)
It was the main feature of the gaming page for best buy either last week or the week before.![]()

I can't transfer it, it doesn't even appear on the Vita.

Has anyone tried transferring it over via a PS3 yet?Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.
Too bad you won't be able to play the 5th chapter on a Vita. I had to transfer it manually to get it onto my PSP and the Vita doesn't allow direct access to the file system.man i had not even thought about killzone liberation. True twin stick shooter now.
Me. It doesn't work at the moment.Has anyone tried transferring it over via a PS3 yet?

Cool, thanks!Me. It doesn't work at the moment.
I think he might mean Resistance Retribution. But not sure.didn't that have a fixed birds-eye camera?
ys 7 looks noticeably smoother with bilinear filtering. i'm glad they have that. is it going to be available for psone games?
A PS Mini game is probably going to be the first thing I play on this, haha. Assuming it works, Where Is My Heart? is a game I've had my eye on since it was released but I no longer had a PSP to play it.
Wait, what's that about Killzone not working right?Has anyone tried transferring it over via a PS3 yet?

yeah i'm only a couple hours in on my psp save so i'll be playing it a bunch too.this is what i like to hear. First game im playing when i get my console.
oh yeah! you're right, i forgot. that will be so much better. i hated using the face buttons for that game and stopped playing.Yeah, and it was a twin stick shooter ala geometry wars and everyday shooter except you used the face buttons, now you can use an actual second stick.
There is an extra fifth chapter that was previously available as DLC. AFAIK, it's no longer possible to download it from the PSN store. At least it wasn't for me. I ended up having to:Wait, what's that about Killzone not working right?
Copying games from your PS3 to the Vita deletes them from your PS3.
