I just realized that this launch is the first time in a long time to pick up the Saturday paper. I can't begin to tell you the problems I've had trying to price match with black and white print outs from websites.

That TRU price for UC is going to do work come Wednesday.

Yeah, it's pretty good. My only problem with UMvC3 Vita is trying to hold a button for Vergil's Round Trip or Zero's buster while doing other things. Oh, and also Taskmaster's angled hyper.

You think thats bad. Trying playing Phoenix Wright on Vita. Triangle+X for evidence. Yea fuck that. Without an extra shoulder button to map too PW is even more hard to play as. It's the sole reason I won't double dip.

My girlfriend was at my house this weekend and was messing around with the FEB Vita I bought. She jumped on Amazon and pre-ordered a Wifi one with Hot Shots and Virtua Tennis. She isn't into video games really at all. I think this says a lot about the Vita as an impressive piece of hardware.

That's neat and all, and I really want the Vita to do well, but that doesn't make any sense to me. The machine is a gaming machine, sort-of-sadly. The browser blows, the chat blow, no Twitter, no Facebook... why does she like it? For her, it seems like it should feel like a bulkier iPhone that's been dropped too many times...

A small account switch recap:

You only need one card.
You have to be connected online (wifi or 3G) or connected to a PS3.
You have to make a factory reset but ask for NOT format memory stick.
You don't need to re-download the games when you switch accounts.
Games has to be played in the account that you downloaded them.

I keep getting an error "NW-2468-0" which seems to be a PSN error. My PS3s all connect fine and my home network is fine - but when games try to access online content or when I try to access the store this error keeps popping up. The Vita says that I am logged in, and my friends list comes up, but I can not access the store, sync trophies or activate my system.

Also - my back touch panel wasn't responding earlier (a reset seems to have corrected the issue), and twice now my front touch has stopped responding when the system came out of sleep mode.

Are these issues happening with anyone else? I am a bit annoyed at the PSN issue and have no idea how to resolve it - I can buy everything on the PS3/PC and transfer, but would like to be able to go through the Vita. The technical issues cause a bit of concern and I don't know if I should just exchange the unit or not. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

I think Uncharted will get traded in quite a bit in the upcoming months so you'll be able to pick it up quite a bit cheaper.

There's a thread for Vita deals, but Target had an offer to preorder the Vita and receive a 20 giftcard and a 4GB card for the Wifi.

Since when? All the '12 games are still $40-50 used. There is no reason to trade them in until the next season comes around, at which point they are essentially worthless. A game like MLB will hold it's value until the winter.

Soccer games might be different since they seem to release more than one a year.

You'll see them all, but can only launch a game if you're currently using the PSN account that you used to download your game

Disgaea 3, although that's a strategy RPG. And yes, Near works over Wifi.

Ah, sorry! It's the first time I've ever done anything like that so I wasn't too sure of how to do it. The version I'll run on the site will continue on with that font (for consistency), but the version I post on GAF with the OT will use something better.

Disgaea 3 was not a PS3 launch title.

Depending on how you look at it Gravity Rush/Daze might be the first one in the west as it has RPG/character building elements. Though it is a free-roam action/adventure title.

I have been playing Shinobido 2 and I have to say I really like it so far. It's from the company that made the PS1 Tenchu games so if you liked those games you will like this.

I do recommend the game even though I have a feeling in about a month it will be $10-$20 cheaper.

Check import sites that carry Hori products like Play-Asia and YesAsia. It's called the Hori TPU Protector Cover.

I actually got mine from eBay because the seller was in the same state. Price was a little more than what importing would have probably costed, but I got it in 2 days.

Ah, really? I've never played the Tenchu games but I'm very curious about Shinobido 2. Just saddened by the lack of impressions and less than stellar reviews. Might just put in a preorder for it on Amazon.

My plan was originally to go Wifi, but I think I'm going to buy the 3G model now just for the GPS.

I don't plan to ever use the 3G function in the Vita, but if I like the fact I can get Near hits with the GPS without 3G on. Then I can see the results when I get home.

I only played one run. High score was 801,564.

I don't really think the different depth of the blocks on the sides of the screen make it any easier IMO.

I don't know how I feel about the the new shuffle block. I think what it does is switches the colors of all the blocks on the screen to the other color.
