Megaton Rainfall now coming October 17th.
Include Move support or boo.
By then I will be in Raw Data.
I'm very close to getting DWVR to hold me until then.

the movements going on there doesn't make a lick of sense in a racing game...unless he's playing wipeout maybe, but even then...
No it's to make you feel the g-forces rather than be representative of angles of lean from braking / steering. Like how you get pushed back into your seat when accelerating hard, by tilting backwards it can replicate that feeling. It'd work much better with a VR headset than the flat TV tho as he can see he's just being tilted to crazy angles.
i think you'd be able to feel like you were just being tilted to crazy angles though, whether you were wearing a HMD or not. i can't imagine it's enough to trick the brain. i mean you can't be held in a position akin to a far lean on a motocycle and not feel like your weight is just all flopped into the edge of your seat.
i dunno, i can see it working in something that does achieve those sorts of angles, whether it's trying to represent acceleration or not, like a VR flying mech cockpit type experience, but i think it would feel incredibly immersion breaking being flung about like you're on a mechanical bull when you're supposed to just be turning a corner in a car.

The fact that they waited until release day to sheepishly announce a delay does not give me a whole lot of faith in Megaton Rainfall.
Any word on US pricing? The Euro PSN Store link is not working for me.
It feels casual like COD Jackal Assault.thanks..i was thinking of it as i prefer a SP focused space game than Eve's MP focused..
is the shooting comparable to Eve's or more 'casual' like Star Wars/COD Jackal Assault?

Got my PSVR today. Playing Summer Lesson, Resident Evil 7, and watching VR porn.
It's cool I guess but RE7 makes me feel motion sick
It's also kind of uncomfortable with glasses.

Hmmm it's a mixed bag sometimes, but it usually is because I adjust the PSVR too tight.
At least the VR porn didn't make you sick. So there's that.
The two main issues we're dealing with right now are a Hall of Mirrors issue and a reprojection edge issue.
The Hall of Mirrors issue only happens during loading of new levels and the reprojection issue is not something you would notice during normal gameplay. You basically have to shake your head back and forth and then you can see a small crescent artifact at the very edge.
where do i find the porn?
Exploring the house in VR is a real treat and I desperately want more VR games that are like Gone Home or stuff of that nature that just allow me explore and find clues and do mini puzzles (and maybe a few scares every now and again).
It varies from game to game. Seated games are definitely fine, since you only need 2.5-3 feet away from camera, games like EVE, RE7, Polybius, GT sport, cockpit, flying games, games that primarily uses ds4.So I'm seriously considering getting a PlayStation VR, but the one thing holding me back is the space requirement.
I'll be using it in my bedroom, and the furthest I could sit away from the camera is around 4 feet before my chair hits my bed.
Is this enough space? I have space on the sides, but literally moving back is the biggest hindrance.
Check out The Solus Project, that's essentially what the game is. There is a survivor element to it as well (you can turn it off if you like) which I think works well because it forces you to be more attentive to the sounds and environment around you and prevents the game from feeling like you are always just heading to the next point and in VR works very well.

Damnnn.
They are so strict about it now, you have to use a different registered phone number account and a different card.
I haven't had a chance to play my PSVR - or write a review - since May. But, I'm finally living with my headset again and can get stuck back in.
So, what are the best games that have been released since May? I know Farpoint came out, will be getting that very shortly. I got a review code for The Solus Project, checked out the trailer and it looks pretty good. Hoping it's good in-game! But I'm up for any and all suggestions. And if there are any games that deserve more attention and a review, let me know!

Yeah I'm waiting a bit on The Solus Project in the hopes they add PS4 Pro and DS4 support. It looks very cool and was the first game that popped into my head when I was writing that first post. The survival thing sounds like it could supplant the sort of ongoing sense of dread of RE7, which I think helps exploration feel weighty and essential (I gotta find more bullets!).

Alright, so I played through Voltron. It's what you would expect -- about a 45 minute to an hour long episode where you solve puzzles and pilot the blue lion in a limited fashion. Your enjoyment and satisfaction with the purchase will be completely dependent on how much you like the new Voltron series.
I happen to like it, and for the discounted pre-order price, I totally feel I got my money's worth out of it. If I'd gone to an arcade and someone said, hey -- you want to play an interactive VR Voltron episode for $12? I would have definitely said yes -- so, owning it at home is a no brainer.
I found the puzzles really easy, but enjoyable nonetheless. The piloting isn't really piloting -- but, it still makes you feel like you are ... I know that sounds like a conflict, but you have control sticks that allow you to move around in an on-rails flight path. You aim by looking at targets. I had fun, and it brought me back to my childhood Voltron fantasies.
The story isn't great, but the interaction between the characters is just as good as the show -- so, great voice acting, but the drive of the action is a MacGuffin, unless they continue the story, which I guess is possible.
So, for fans, it's a thumbs up.
For anyone else, there are probably more interesting VR experiences for you, but it's still fun.
Edit: I should add, it is controlled with two Moves -- so, you need that.
the game itself seems fairly interesting, i like the idea and the ambient music is nice. i absolutely suck at it though.. i only played for a little while but i managed to die from hunger, dehydration AND hypothermia. goddamnit.
Does anyone notice the difference between games running at 60fps compared to those running at 90 or 120? The only times I've noticed anything are at the end of a race on DCVR you are stood at the side of the track whilst people drive past and you can see a ghost car behind the player car - the spiderman experience had a similar thing when the Vulture flies past you at close range.
