Why are we not talking about Blood & Truth?! I've figured out its TBA: 2018 but the polish in this game looks amazing, the controls look clever and the interactive use of the environments look like so much fun! could this be the AAA game we're all looking for? In the video I watched the guy playing had to mimic the loading of a clip into an automatic handgun with 2 move controllers, there was duel wielding guns, he put a clip on the handle of his gun, threw it in the air and loaded his weapon.

It looked like a modern day GoldenEye FPS set in Casino Royale, mixed with the creativity of Superhot VR and more polish than London Heist with everything awesome from every action movie ever. I really want to keep my eyes out for this one.
Blood and Truth looked good... Till I learned you don't move freely in it. So fed up with on-rail shooters on VR. Yeah, I guess you can select which rail you want to use but it's still on rails.

Wasted potential, imo.

Yea thats fair, I definitely thought you could move freely in it. I would still pick this up. I skipped Until Dawn: Rush of Blood cause the idea of shooting things off a roller coaster doesnt really appeal to me, I did demo it before I got my PSVR but not worth picking up imo. I thought Farpoint did a good job with free movement and proved its clearly possible. Have there been any hints as to a release date?

Guys I just bought a set, but experience a small issue while the screen is on cinema mode, there is a small tilt around 5 degrees to right side. It is like missing a horizontal calibration. I read and it seems a lot of people are expierencing the same problem with not really a fix. Quick fix is the put the screen to small and then back to medium. But when press and hold options to recenter, it goes back to tilted. Kinda frustrating.

Finally got everything setup with a switcher. Played some Farpoint, which is seriously awesome. But man, this VR business is not a summer activity. It's been round 35 to 40 degrees celsius recently and with the headset on it feels like my head is in a sauna.

Might have to hold off till it cools down to play some more.

Been experiencing the same thing its been like 31-35 degrees Celsius in Vancouver, I have my a/c setup not far away but still so hot in the VR headset. Still though I can't not play and its supposed to get rainy next week.

Haven't posted here in a little while, I wanted to share though SuperHot VR finally arrived in the mail last weekend from the U.K and it was worth the wait. Not too mention it was even worth toughing it out in the headset in the middle of a heat wave were having here. Everything I'd read was true, you absolutely feel like a bad ass playing this game, it feels like playing through all the best action scenes that have ever been made from random action movies.

Some scenarios play out more naturally than others if I'm being objective about my experience. There have definitely been scenarios where I've had to play them through a bunch to kinda of learn where my reaction times should be depending on how and what I'm being attacked with. Its helped to completely slow it down and go kind of frame by frame if you find yourself constantly getting killed.

I think I played non stop for about 2.5+ hrs and time didn't seem to matter as I'd eagerly await the next scenario to load up. I did also end up grabbing a couple games that were on sale I found Until Dawn: Rush of Blood for $11 pre-owned, the WipEout Omega Collection $24.99 (almost missed this not realizing the VR was in a free update) and to any of the Canadian PSVR enthusiasts here Best Buy has Doom VFR new for $19.99 CAD which I also grabbed. https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/doom-vfr-for-playstation-vr-ps4/10739596.aspx?

I did get to try WipEout once I installed the update, I feel like I'll need to tweak the sensitivity abit I was ok but there was alot of movement and for some upcoming guests I'm having over I feel like it will be abit much. Overall I enjoyed this too but I feel like I need to get better at racing and firing items, as per what I've found with my other VR experiences this game becomes SO much better in VR.

You'll also find Batman Arkham VR for $19.99 CAD, Skyrim VR for $49.99 CAD, the sale goes until Aug 16th, 2018.

Finally joined the party thanks to GameStop Italy. I got the VR Worlds bundle for 99€ trading in 3 games such as Far Cry 4, Battlefield 4 and Battleborn(!!!).
I have to be really honest, I'm REALLY loving the experience. Thanks to my brother long dated PS+ subscription I already have Rush of Blood (got a little sick during the rollercoaster part, even if it's an absolutely great feeling), RIGS, Here They Lie and, of course, VR Worlds.
Gonna buy Doom VFR today for 10 Euros and probably the SuperHot bundle for 19€ this weekend.
Which games do you suggest me to try? Thanks to the 2 demo discs I can say that Rez Infinite and Thumper are awesome but I'd really like to know if there are secret gems hidden that I'm not aware of.

I would suggest trying "The Invisible Hours", Robinson: The Journey and Farpoint (with the Aim Controller). SuperHot is definitely worth the 19€.

How far back does your brother’s PS+ sub go? Check the library for Bound, Race The Sun and Hyper Void, which are all fully playable in VR and Trackmania Turbo which has a VR segment.

Welcome to the wonderful world of PSVR. I got started about a month ago, the more you play generally the less motion sickness you will feel or atleast I've felt I've went from maybe not motion sickness but being a bit disoriented to being just fine in pretty much any VR setting now.

For recommendations obviously Resident Evil 7 is right up there if you're ok with horror games, that being the mainstream and most polished experience. For some good sleeper titles I suggest Moss which is visually stunning, for a VR starter too it moves at an easier pace so it'll get you used to being in VR. I also really love RIGS, I jumped into this one head on but be fair warned theres lots of movement in this one but once you get used to it, its one of the most fun games too. SuperHot VR is one of the best VR experiences I've had hands down, it feels very fluid to play and works really well for VR. Farpoint has been fun, its one of the the best for full locomotion open world full directional control, Skyrim as well. I had a blast with Job Simulator and just got the quick platinum trophy from that.

Last night I was debating between getting Skyrim VR or the Asia English version of Summer Lesson: Hikari Miyamoto, as both are on sale right now. On one hand I really never liked the Elder Scrolls nor the Fallout series, but VR has proven time and again that it can make you like games that you normally aren't into. OTOH with Summer Lesson I wanted to feel like a creep and get uncomfortable with the whole personal space invasion thingy, as I don't really get any kind of reactions with VR that most people do such as: vertigo when you are really high, nor my stomach has ever wanted to come out of my mouth when falling, and the like. I have phobia of worms/centipedes, etc. then I played RE7 in VR and when I saw that box full of maggots I was like "ehh, cute."

I decided to go for Skyrim in the end, SL is barely a game and I'll just wait when they bundle all the characters together and then get it on a heavy price drop. I'm glad I did because I ended up liking Skyrim quite a lot, the dragon breathing fire into my face was a holy shit moment, then I killed freaking giant spiders and I didn't realize it well after the fact. Simply amazing.

Another heads up for people interested.

I've made a psvr community on ps4 for matchmaking as it can be quite hard to get into games.

Its only small so far with people in different time zones so it's not the most convenient setup.

If more could join it would make it a lot more viable.

Its called

VR matchmaking

Hope more of you can join. There's already a couple of gaffers in there.

I already have RE7 and I already got the platinum one year ago. I really must try it with the VR, tho.
Just bought SuperHot VR, really hope that it will not give the same sickness the original one gave me when I played it on XBONE.
Moss and Job Simulator are very interesting titles, I'm gonna wait for a nice discount like a vulture on a dying traveller in the desert.

I've just started to play Doom VFR with my aim controller. Is anyone having issues with the gun vibrations when shooting? I wasn't feeling anything, but then I switched to my machine gun and all of a sudden, I felt every bullet vibrate from the aim controller. After I died in the level and restarted, I lost the vibration feature and have never felt it again.

I caved and pre-ordered the Firewall Zero Hour Aim Controller bundle yesterday, I was hoping to find a cheaper way around the Aim Controller, seems pricey for as simple as it is and they're no where to be found as a stand alone. I really wish the Sharpshooter from the PS move days worked for PSVR. Anyways, looking forward to starting Doom and finishing Far Point once I grab that.

On another note, I played Gran Turismo in VR last night, just wow. I plan on grabbing the 'Drive Hub' from Collective Minds (a Canadian based company) to use my Driving Force Logitech wheel from last gen. https://collectiveminds.ca/shop/allconsoles/drivehub/

I think I'm gonna play some after work today, still slowly getting my vr legs back.

I keep finding myself coming back to Farpoint. Trying to get 3 medals on the challenge levels are still such a pain in the ass, but I find myself drawn it. I have been playing some co-op with my buddy, too.

I really hope that Firewall has the shooting mechanics down perfectly like Farpoint does. I've been hyped for other Aim-enabled games but none of them have gotten it right like Farpoint.

So this happened and yes I have a pre-order for the bundle with Firewall Zero Hour but I couldn't pass this up, I'll just buy the game separately. I found this bundled on a shelf in a used games store for $89.99 CAD with Farpoint, which I already have, I asked if they'd sell it separately and first they said no but then we agreed on $39.99 CAD. There were a few dirty spots on the ball/ tubing but nothing a Mr Clean magic eraser couldn't make short work of and restore to a brand-new like shine.

Played abit of Farpoint last night and this Aim Controller makes such a huge difference vs a controller, its not even worth playing with the controller after using this and I can now start playing Doom. Admittedly I stumbled around the button placement abit playing Farpoint at first but soon got the hang of it for the most part, I'm still unsure of where the R2 button is but the rest of it makes sense. I would have had this sooner but they are tough to find in Canada unless they're new and bundled.

R2 is the trigger, LOL.
The Aim controller is really great for shooters. The only bad thing is that it feels weird for handguns. It would be cool if it could be split into two for dual-wielding.

What I want is a strap / holster so you can use the zoom but switch to dual pistols with moves.

It will never happen but it should be cool.

Alright, I totally wasn't thinking about it that way, was thinking the trigger was the T Button like the move controllers, still I'm a dumbass haha.

I haven't preordered but I will be picking it up day one.

I want to get in early in this just incase the community doesn't last.

The more people there at the beginning the nite likely it is to last a good while.

That's what I'm worried about. A 4v4 online MP VR game is...enthusiastic. I want to be there while I can actually play it that way and not when it takes 4 minutes to find 2 people.

Rush of Blood got me over my fear of Rollercoasters so that's something. I'm pretty Yolo about em now.

So I got perma banned at the other place, so I guess I'm back here now :)

Yeah I'm picking up Firewall at release, not sure if I should buy it on disc or digital. Its an online VR game so you either play it at release or never.

I'm pretty pumped to try this out. Here's a random video I saw on reddit of someone messing around with the main menu to check out the tracking. The way the in-game controller models always look in VR is neat, especially when the buttons and sticks actually move when you use them.

Tracking looks very stable, fingers crossed the actual game is good.

I learnt my lesson buying games on disc for vr.

There's nothing more annoying than having to change discs when in vr.

I actually did end up grabbing it after playing a demo, also I found a physical copy for $11 CAD, I've spent $11 in worse ways. Its not half bad though, some decent jump scares. Also roller coasters are awesome, spiny rides are the devil.

hahaha I used to get so frustrated when I'd get my camera all set up in the perfect position and angle, get my chair all ready and centered, sit down with the headset on and the cables placed just right around me and then...SHIT, I forgot I bought this game on disc.

Firewall releases on the 29th in Sweden. If I buy it digitally, will I be able to download and play at night between 28th/29th as soon as the clock hits 00:00 ?

Bought Drunkn Bar Fight since it was on sale. Biiiiiiig mistake. In general just a shitty game and I haven't felt as much nausea since when I first purchased PSVR. I really cant play any moving game without snap turn.

Did you guys hear that Ace Combat's VR missions will end up being about 3 hours total? I expected the whole game to be VR capable....

Yeah, the length was announced recently but it has been known for a while that they were going to be missions specifically designed for VR.

It's still disappointing that there are only 5 VR missions, though.

Damn, I knew it wouldn't be the full game in VR, but I thought it was going to be more substantial than 3 hours. That's a huge shame.

Played Firewall all night. It's absolutely fantastic. Great tracking, nice visuals, fun maps. Had a blast.
What's it like in terms of gear? How many guns are in the game?

Yeah, i was interested till I learned that. Don't care for it now.
