It would be nice if there wasn't any visible mura at all on the psvr 2 but I don't understand how it's a complete deal breaker for some people.
Vr2 is my first vr, tested vr1 years ago but only briefly.
Mura were huge disapointment to me when I got these.
It basically ruins the experience, so why it wouldnt be a deal breaker?
Like on kayak game mura is almost everything you see at night. Yes, graphics are "behind it", but it is like watching through fabric with stripes and dots.
Same with S&s1 and RE8, on darker/grey scenes mura is The main thing and graphics are behind it.
Isnt The main point of VR to feel like you are in the game? Difficult to feel like it when mura reminds you 95% of the time that you are having a vr helmet.
And it is easy to see on bright scenes too, so it is annoying.
Mura = "psvr2 doesnt really have oled", I mean oled on tv/phone have perfect blacks, but on vr2 black is basically grey because mura somehow brighten everything.
It is like LCD blacks.
Only when pixels are off it looks like oled black, like around the "theater screen".
So if we pay for oled perfect blacks but get lcd grey looking Image because of mura, that is enough to think it is a deal breaker.
It would be cool to kayak on night seeing only stars and, black, but now it is just grey pixel puke.
Because of mura I havent used mine after The launch, other than S&S1 today.
It is barely usable but mura drops it from 4/5 to 2/5 experience
Maybe effect varies between units or some people are more "blind" to it?
