Lapdog? Those things could barely cover your knee, let alone your lap. Cocker Spaniel, Shetland Sheepdogs, they might make a good lapdog (besides their other qualities). Irish Wolfhounds.... only if you weigh a thousand pounds or so.

Yes, shelties are actually cute as hell, loyal, fun to play with, follow you around, and would not back down to run into a corner when another dog is in the room.

All those accessory dogs will just piss and shit on your lap, not even really that cute.
